    i say corolla's headlight
it has a good, small round high beam reflector, and YES i can source the assembly, the place where i bought this projector had headlight assemblies of almost all the cars you see on the road.
i even asked the price and he quoted roughly 700 bucks..
I've kept it as my last option..

i should get my hid bulb today, will check the beam-spread and even let you guys know soon...
There u r, I had the same in my mind Corolla/Linea are best and Vista, Indigo are also considerable and compact too. Just look for the HB reflectors in good condition, let the assy cover be broken, then the cost as well as ur effort to pull out the reflector will be less.

i don't personally like angel eyes, infact i don't even plan to put up an angel eye.
normally on bikes the headlight switch stops at 3 places.
    1- headlight off
2- headlight off, but pilot lamps on
3- headlight on, pilot lamps also on.

regarding angel eyes, they can be connected to the wire giving power to pilot lamps, looks good like that, one can switch it on/off on will.

but in my case my headlight switch stops only at 2 places
    1- headlight on
    2- headlight off

there are no pilot lamps or parking bulb in my bike anywhere. So even if i do install angel eyes i will have to wire it up with the ignition switch, so whenever my bike is switched on with the key, it will glow angel eyes, even during the day.
i don't actually want to do that.

my projector is quite small, infact its the smallest one on all the cars i've ever seen, so putting up another reflector might not be a very difficult job regarding space....... hope so.

shreeni had put up 3 projectors on his unicorn, my headlight reflector and unicorn's headlight reflector is almost same considering size.

i do agree that it would be a painful task. But it has to be done.

    1 more thing sajit
i won't have to worry about the spread as my low beam projector might give enough spread all around, the cut-off would say end at 30 or so meters, all i need in my high beam is to give light over that cut-off, i would barely use it apart from flashing purposes and little on highways,
so i was particularly interested in something that lights up longer distances only....

a pencil beam would do for me, as the reflector would be round, if I'm not happy with the light from it than I'll go for hid in that reflector too, since it would be round so i don't think it will scatter the light a lot....

    what do you think?
Dude, without an AE or a shroud ur work wont look good thats my point. If u dont've a parking switch, then u can install one extra rather connecting it directly as DIY AE wont be much bright enogh to get noticed in day light. Or atleast u need a shroud to cover the lens sides else, light will come out of the sides and wont look good.

Have u seen the beam spread from the lens? If not do that first before these juggads.

For a better high beam, u need to source a P220 HB, other driving lights r bigger ie; 5" onwards. Now u calculate both will go in a single dome? hl 243 h3 in a white glass is small enough i think?
I think u r referring HL 228 PH3 round driving light instead of HL 243 H3. But the 228 is bigger 7" and the 243 is rectangle 6X4, both wont go inside of F2 dome.

Its very difficult to source a dedicated HB dome for a bike.

i am trying hard to find p220's high beam reflector.
    but
i think even if i do source it, it won't be quite stable, as i have to cut my reflector from behind to fit these 2 stuff, reflector and proj.
the proj had hid kit which is waterproof, also the projector has openings on top and below so its not sealed completely even as stock, as the kit is waterproof i don't have to worry about water seepage inside as its like that from stock.

but p220 high beam reflector HAS a seal cover on top, in the p220's dome so it makes it waterproof.
if somehow i do attach it to my bike, i won't to able to keep it completely sealed as water WOULD go in from behind if that rubber nipple kinda think is gone... which surely will.

so buying a sealed beam reflector of nearly 3/4 inch would be a good idea, rather than going for a p220's reflector, right??

    @ sajit
dude, i can't get any fiero f2's reflector in junk, i'm getting duplicate cheap one's but it WOULD fade colour of glass,
should i buy a brand new original one and then cut it, coz i don't wan't to mess with my existing reflector.
I've heard it comes with the connectors and all if i buy a new one, how much do you think it would cost....

and yes how about pl 228 h3 down here,
its 9.1 cms diameter, the smallest one in all the autopals, thanks for the link

Anything other than the stock condition is a pain to fix and maintain. U need to design some brackets to do this, but its surely a very difficult job and I don't know how will it come out. It shouldn't affect the appeal too. First u mount lens with a halo and take a wall projection and post it. Lets see the perfo first. Am still too skeptical about the H3 lens perfo. If its good then, mount it on a reflector alone in center with angel eyes with acrylic rods. Without AE ur work wont look neat, after this there wont be much space for an extra light. Its better to settle with an aux lamp outside some where on handle bar/crash guard/front fork bolts for easy mounting.

These are work lamps and not as good as any other OE high beams. It will give u a wide spread like a fog but not a pencil/laser beam. Note that it wont spread beyond some area AFAIK, am yet to convince with that, so I cant guarantee the results as its not a driving light. P228 is the smaller one so is the beam spread, so forget that if u need the spread. There's another link for the headlights and look for the tractors which is having small lights may be that can also be used but at a higher price than the present ones.

I've no idea about the HL assy cost may be around 500/ why do u want to buy a new one if u've one with u. If anything goes wrong, then u can buy a new one and whats wrong in getting connectors, keep it aside if u don't want

Yes dude, this model's reflectors are metal will withstand with a heat even with a 130W if u can source. Only thing is some model's outer cover is made of plastic but that's not bad at all.

Even am looking for one, may be next week or so. Yeah its not that costly and sturdy too. So that I can keep one 5" just below the fairing after calculating the travel length of the forks. Hope that will work with a special bracket.

They comes in pairs without bulb but shop wallas provide them at an extra of 35/- (H3 halo) U can ask for any automobile stores who deals in Autopal. They can provide them if u give the model no.

U mean the website I took the photos? Here's it:
    Autolite (INDIA) Ltd.

U can have many models specs from here.

that is the only problem i can use only single beam...
but i have kept that on my high switch so that i can also use the "pass" switch whenever required....

Am using Autopal aux lamps as high beam flashing on day times. Its 4" and the smallest too. But its not good for HB as its too sharp as laser beam.

U can try this as this's got a wider spread than the first type

Take the PL 458 H3 for crash guard mounting or the first PL 456 H3 for inside the fairing.

Are get one of them send it to me ASAP Am dying for one to get rid of one of the spots. I've checked almost every shop and they were having only 55W Threatening me that it will melt the fog lamp assy as if I was about plonk to a car fog.
