Re: Photography and Critique
Ok a question for all, especially people who click a lot. @prateek2210, @MG, @sunilg, @nelson_sanjoy, @sumitro_d and all others.
I have a Nikon D3200. I shoot ONLY in RAW mode, that is .NEF files. I use Adobe's DNG converter or Lightroom 5.4 to export pics in JPEG format.
But, after every session, I find that at least 20/100 clicks show the following error:
In Lightroom - There was an error working with the photo.
In DNG - Reached an unexpected end of file.
I was so pissed yesterday that I clicked a lovely eagle in flight and I got the errors on that very pic!
P.S - My pics are never in read-only mode, so permissions are ruled out.
What is the actual problem here?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: Photography and Critique
@Divya Sharan : Ok there can be two possibilities :
1) The plugin of adobe is not working properly, but if thats the case it should not read any of the files. Try reinstalling the adobe package and then try.
2) High possibility that the "sector" of your sd card is having some problem. Have your tried using another card and then shoot raw?

Re: Photography and Critique
Nope! Same issues post re-installation. Because only 15-20% of the pics show this error I presumed that the plugins were proper. Also, it happens on multiple memory cards.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Post
I transfer pics to my PC via an SD card reader. Can that be at fault, corrupting pics during transfer?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
