    Sir all Greek for me I click only at jpeg rarely used RAW so never had this problem in LR5.5.Sorry not been able to help.

      @Divya Sharan : Ok there can be two possibilities :
      1) The plugin of adobe is not working properly, but if thats the case it should not read any of the files. Try reinstalling the adobe package and then try.
      2) High possibility that the "sector" of your sd card is having some problem. Have your tried using another card and then shoot raw?

        2 cards checked. Will reinstall and report back.

              Try connecting with USB and directly importing from Cam to LR.

                I have a Nikon D3200. I shoot ONLY in RAW mode, that is .NEF files. I use Adobe's DNG converter or Lightroom 5.4 to export pics in JPEG format.
                But, after every session, I find that at least 20/100 clicks show the following error:

                In Lightroom - There was an error working with the photo.
                In DNG - Reached an unexpected end of file.

                I was so pissed yesterday that I clicked a lovely eagle in flight and I got the errors on that very pic!
                P.S - My pics are never in read-only mode, so permissions are ruled out.

                What is the actual problem here?
                Even-tough I use Canon and Photuchop only I have never got this error .

                Just a suggestion - Are you sure yours cards are fine? For a change try different cards and see if you get the same error...

                Edit : saw you reply above. If your software's also fine - One more suggestion is if you can upgrade your cameras software online . I had a problem with a Pentax DSLR once and an official fix from Pentax solved it.

                  I have 2 cards, one Lexar 8 GB that came with the cam and a Transcend 10 class 16 GB card. Most of the pics that are getting corrupted include fast moving objects.

                    The one with class 10 is perfect....perhaps there are some bad sectors on your card .

                      I have 2 -3 cards none of them too Hi-fi and I don't think fast moving objects or fast shutter speed has got to do anything with the corrupt pics.

                      If you are doing high speed continuous shooting then maybe card speed may be a deterrent but in that case the camera itself will slow down or ask to wait. This is from my humble experience.
