              • Isn't photography an activity thats best accomplished without testosterone running high? Isn't motorcycling an activity thats ultimately ends up with testosterone/adrenaline/restless bliss running high? So hows it that so many bikers are awesome photographers too?

Now that I've made a dramatic entry into the thread I'd like to post some pics i took on my Sony Ericsson k790i

Of course, I'd like a critique.

Loads of awesome pics here in this thread, and the spammer of the thread anvancy, I bow to you! Awesome macros all the time! Lovely work... and oh I loved that HDR tutorial too..

One query though, where do i go next? Do I get one of those superzoom pseudo DSLRs and experiment with focus, aperture, exposure ISO setting etc? Or should I save up and get a real deal SLR and learn with that equipment?

Thanks to Mr. Muthukumar, B&QRest Garage for these acquaintances!

                • @theslayer: Hmmmmm....I would suggest you go for the superzoom Semi DSLRs first. It makes more sense in terms of the money invested on learning photography. In case of DSLR you will have to invest a lot for each "thing" that you want to learn. No doubt the quality of DSLR is better but I would always go for a Semi DSLR to learn photography. I can learn everything from macros to people photography to ultra zoom shots to Panoramas to blah blah...name it and you can more or less learn it on your Semi DSLR.

Oh btw, among the pics above I like the second last one and a little bit of the last one. Rest are ok. Pay more attention towards composition. I don't want to say but a mobile phone cannot do what you can with a real camera. So, if you are planning to get a camera get it soon and see how you make a huge leap in terms of photography.

                          • First thing. If you are using picasa links then it will not show up as images. There is a way out but I have never used picasa so can't comment on that.

For the moment use xBhp Autopictorial or some third party site like photobucket, imageshack or something else.

Its me who edited the image links.Yes the image size is a bit more than the acceptable limit.Try to keep it below 800*600 if otherwise its very special and needs to be posted in high resolution.
