Thanks aargee for this awesome review.
It has been almost a year i was looking for a tail bag and had to manage with bungee cord only as I hate putting any extra weight on my shoulder while riding.
Your review has come as life saver. Booking this bag by this week only. Long rides are lined up

Superb..!!! This is indeed what is meant by the word review, every minute detail has been attended to and pointed out, really unbiased.
After reading it i can conclude that Viterra has indeed ticked a lot of boxes on what bikers really need when it comes to these bags. !!! Kudos to the developing team , i know they are reading it here. ..!!

Sorry to have not posted; the result is no different than CBR 250R & hence thought people might not be interested; there's nothing new; the bag mounted just fine.

sirjee one question though it might be pre-mature as you havent used the bag regularly. but due to saddle bags the cbr's rear plastic tend to get rubbed and got the paint coat off.
just wanted to know if the claw touches/rubs over any such place on either side else we can put bubble wrap and then put the claw..

Yes, but, from my little experience, I will say IT WILL scrape off the paint; it will be more so at the rear cover (silver color). But the damage will be certainly minimal compared to using a saddle bag. There was quite a good damage from COLT compared to my Nelson Rigg for a simple reason that the area of contact of COLT saddlebag is more compared to the Nelson Rigg (and Viaterra or any tail bag for that matter). On a saddle bag, the whole bag rubs against the sides compared to the straps of tail bag.

Agreed that one can use a duct tape to cover the painting, but, a tail bag needs less area to be covered.

PS - Actually your question is a very good one; I haven't thought about this point till date until you asked me; way to go!!!

i have to mention that this was an excellent review and thanks a lot for saving our money and time on testing all these and finally coming to know which was better.
every detail has been put wonderfully along with pictures.
now our job is to simply go and buy it without worrying about its quality and other stuff, all thanks to you

And, pls don't go blindly on my review; use the 15 days grace period when you buy the Claw & check if the bag really is worthy for your needs.

for the saddle bag the solution i came up with is very simple.. used the 10 rs orange cloth that they sell at road sides and petrol bunks
so it stays soft over the coloured part on both sides using multiple folds on the cloth and then bubble wrap it 360 dgree and tape it.. this will give cushion to the bag as well as protect the paint. the bubble wrap even if it gets dirty can be washed and re-used.. only new item youd nee'd will be a tape..

Has anyone tried using the CLAW on a R15 V2.0?

There is only 1 image on the website, I need couple of more. Payeng can you provide us with some more pictures of the CLAW on a R15 v2.0?

^^ Eshan - a friend, @Saquib3003 uses the Claw on his V2. He is very happy with it, says even at 125 the bag is very stable. Plus the bag capacity is huge so you can carry lotta stuff. Overall build quality, he says, is better than Cramster and Dirtsack. @AbhishekSircar used it for the Goa ride, have not got a response from him yet.
