Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
Thanks for the reply. I am going to see my local cobbler and check if he has a special adhesive to bond rubber with other material (common scenario while repairing sport shoes i guess). If that does not work - then as Adarsh has suggested - I will go for araldite.Originally posted by shrey1992 View Post---

Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
Spartan Ares not in stock at Let's Gear Up. I need to buy one pair urgently since I'm going on a 4-day trip this weekend. Any other alternative place in Bangalore where I can get them?
If not, I'm planning to go for Cramster (Tundra preferably as later I plan to buy Ares anyway; will complete my summer/winter gloves set). Recommended?

Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
there is no need to buy separate summer and winter gloves in India as the weather we come across are not extreme. Instead invest in a good pair of gloves, and in winters buy and inner warm liner to wear inside the gloves ......... those winter liners are easily available in the riding gears shops as the winters arrive.Originally posted by salman.rvf View PostSpartan Ares not in stock at Let's Gear Up. In case you are not able to pick up a SPG Ares, you may also look at Zeus and Rhino .............. they have been lauded for the quality as well

Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
Hey Everyone,
I am looking for a pair of gloves to buy next month or so about the time I'll get my RC200 (booked.. still waiting.. damn the waiting period..) so I got some time to save for the accessories.
So back to the topic, I do not see the Spartan Centaur listed on their website.. so I'm not sure whether to pick it or not.. However, I'll be driving in the city only. Maybe.. just maybe take it out on the highway for a day.. so seeing the online and something to go with the Helios (orange) I'm looking at the Phaeton, what do you guys say?

Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
Spartan Ares - DO NOT BUY, if you like to keep changing gloves often
What review to write? Just one sentence - I bought these during Mar 2013 & now its almost June 2015 & this gloves has served more than 53000 Km, looks like this gloves will not give up anytime soon & I'll be struck with this gloves forever!!
@Sunnyside_up! - This is another wonderful product just like that goddamn rugged armor Helios

Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
Hi guys I'm a total noob here in need of some help. Couple of days back I bought my first glove, a spg centaur in medium size. But now I feel like even the medium is too big for me. My fingers are definitely shorter than the gloves, in that there is some space still left in the gloves after I wear it and I also feel like my palms are also not wide enough. The store guy had said that tiny space left in fingers is OK and would leave some breathing space for nails to grow. The space is not much just a tiny bit from my finger tips, but I'm afraid if this will make me slip from the levers or something. Im waiting for delivery of my bike, so have no means to verify either. Do you think there will be problems if the glove is not snug? Also I don't think spg have any size smaller either. So I don't think there is any scope for a swap. Funny thing is that I was having a hard time getting inside the xxl size mt helmet but even the smallest glove they have is still big for my hands. Please guys, any help is much appreciated.

Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
I faced the same issue with my gloves but unless it is really big and the leather is bunching up at the folds, it's not a problem. Moreover some fingers will have gaps while while won't. As long as it doesn't hinder in your riding and doesn't give you pain or unease it's okay. You shouldn't worry about losing grip over the levers.Originally posted by deejayrox View PostHi guys I'm a total noob here in need of some help. Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
Thanks for the reply man. My only worry was if my fingers would slip in emergency braking due to slack in finger tips.Originally posted by Deathmate.Zed View PostI faced the same issue with my gloves but unless it is really big and the leather is bunching up at the folds, it's not a problem. Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
i have recently bought ASPIDA gloves ( don't remember the model name) in small size. they fit me perfectly but the thing is, they are very hard ( pure leather) pinky finger hurts while riding and finding it difficult to handle the clutch with gloves on, i feel my riding style has changed a bit when wearing the gloves. it has good padding on the palm stretched till the pinky finger with extra protection. I tried to break them by wearing for rides, but not able to ride with them for more than 10 mins. any suggestions. they are not gauntlets or touring gloves. they are for city riding. i will post the review soon, but any ideas on how to make them work for me.
they are taking more time to get used to and feels like hard to break.
Live like you mean it, then get a bike!

Re: SPARTAN GLOVES: Review and Experiences
Aspida Leather Gloves are available at 2.25K in bangalore. My suggestion would be to get from the store rather than ordering online. The store has more recent varieties than the Spartan Pro Gear Website and also you can check for a comfortable fit.Originally posted by Anuj Agarwal View PostI need a good gloves within 2.5k
