Re: Mt blade helmet review
Did yours come with a Pinlock visor?Originally posted by saikatbyte View PostOnly I find after upgrading from LS2 FF384 to MT Blade (SV Boss) is much more cushioning, comfortable, nice outer shell shape, optional speaker attachment hole, and that is cheap (5,950 INR) compared to other brand.Ride Safe!

Not an easy search bro. I have been looking for them for ages.Originally posted by sman999 View PostGuys any idea where we can get tear offs for our visors in India?
What I have learnt is that tear offs don't go on any visor. There are specific visors that have tear off posts. and expectedly most of the helmets within our range don't come with tear off posts. Hence availability in India is mostly very rare even if there is any.

But for the posts we can figure out a manual DIY at least. The problem is no matter how much you are careful about your visor it tends to get micro scratches due to the debris or the bug hits. The universal screen guards cant be pasted on a visor due to the curved nature of the visor.

There is website in US, I guess tearoffs or something.
Has a lot of variety and good explanation as which one will cover the max area for your visor and stuff. Couldn't find any India link though.
You might call Performance Racing store in bombay and see if they have it.Rachit K Dogra

Re: Mt blade helmet review
Its at par with LS2 wrt ventilation. But the quality of the padding is way better than LS2 and the field of view is great.Originally posted by Valkyire View PostHow is the ventilation for a 34 degree sunny day? Any better than a LS2?Ride Safe!

I've heard people say that the quality of stitching is very bad and the stitches come off. Is this true? Long term reviews anyone?Originally posted by sman999 View PostIts at par with LS2 wrt ventilation. But the quality of the padding is way better than LS2 and the field of view is great.

I had used em both quite extensively and I haven't faced any issues with stitching. So no, it might be an one off case.Originally posted by Valkyire View PostI've heard people say that the quality of stitching is very bad and the stitches come off. Is this true? Long term reviews anyone?Ride Safe!

Re: Mt blade helmet review
To tell abt Blade vs Axxis.Originally posted by Valkyire View PostThanks bro. Slight OT, but how is the Axxis Limited EVO? Have my eyes on that.
The former is comfortable and the only issue with it is the internal visor that tends to get loose. It has speaker pockets as well so if you are a ear phones user like me it suits well for ya. It comes even with a pin lock visor now.
The latter is more sharper towards the chin and kinda uneasy if you have a broad/round face. So it depends on you. Wearing ear phones is painful in the Axxis. When you open the visor and ride some times the bugs can get into your ears as there is a gap above the cheek padding. I know this cuz my friend has one and had used it as well. It's aerodynamically good and kinda easy on the neck than the Blade.Ride Safe!

I am facing lots of trouble while riding in nighttime with the mt blade internal sunvisor which is too loose to withstand any potholes on roads and keep dropping & dropping. Can anyone had this pathetic experience and if yes kindly give a DIY method to solve it! Thanks in advance..Regards

Place a piece of tissue between the sun visor and the helmet to hold it during night rides or tighten it using a star screw driver from the toolkit everytime it loosens.Originally posted by niku View PostThe Sun Visor of Blade can be tightened. If you don't want it, it can be removed as well. But it's hard to put it back. (was the advice from Spartan showroom fellas)Ride Safe!
