Re: Mt blade helmet review
There is way to tighten it,
Tightening those philips screws doesn't tight anything,
First remove clear visor
Then remove left side rachet system/visor holding mechanism by removing 2 philips screws
Carefully take it out, because spring may jupout.
There you will find brass nut, Tighten it, dont over tighten it if you do so you cant move inner visor,
Reassemble everything.
Now it will feel like a newone.
While reassembling apply a very small amount of grease between nut and internal visor.

Using thumb apply some force against it and turn,Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostYatheesh I tried to tighten that brass nut but it didn't happened. Can you tell us through pics or what tools you require to tighten that brass nut.
Even after tightening that nut if face the same problem,
Remove that brass nut along with 2 small screws, take out inner visor handle,
Check for wornout plastic, if its wornout you need to fix that.
That white mark shows how much its wornout,
If its too much then you have to do some mods, like sliding thin wire sleve abouve that black pin, or a straw.

That definitely should not be happening. Get it replaced under warranty.Originally posted by philip.gunner View PostHows the paint lasting for you guys? On my fluorescent Orange Raceline, the orange paint at the top which is exposed to direct sunlight is fading.
Been using it for 45 days.

Yes I have contacted SPG via email. They have denied warranty. Will think about applying tapes above it if the paint fades even further.Originally posted by sman999 View PostIt would happen for all florescent colours. Especially if you ride in the sun. One lesson learnt; avoid Florescent colors next time.

Re: Mt blade helmet review
I just ordered the MT blade SV Alpha from Spartan Pro gear website. . . I am sized 57cm. so Ordered a Medium. . . reading this thread makes me worried it will be TOO small. :/ If someone can please measure and confirm their head size and helmet size, that would be GREAT !
Being on two wheels is being liberated. The vastness one feels being under the open sky. The whole feeling. . . cant be described.

Its just not head circumference, even head shape plays a huge role while selecting helmets,Originally posted by UnsettledNose73 View PostI just ordered the MT blade SV Alpha from Spartan Pro gear website. . . Re: Mt blade helmet review
I bought one in 2014, still using, one with NFC. There was no wind noise then, but after getting new visor, it started developing slight wind noises (say highway cruising speeds), though the shut is perfect. Bought one recently for a friend, which got no NFC, got the problem of wind noise at higher speeds and quality does not seem like the earlier ones.#RetiredRider
