In my showroom they said that its just indicated that 8 liters is maximum liter of petrol that can be held in the tank but it will be surely more than that.

Yes it is the same case with Discover 100 DTS-Si and Pulsar 135LS as well. Reserve is excluded from Fuel Tank capacity. So in Discover the capacity is 8.0+2.3=10.3 liters. If you do a full tank it will be around 13 liters but this is not recommended for safety reasons.

Guys, can anyone throw some light on the disc cover?

        Image from the first post:

Now, what is the purpose of this cover?

Doesn't that effect the cooling mechanism of the disc?

In that position can it stop the dirt from entering the disc pads?

It looks to me that the only thing it can help with is keep the disc and pads away from fork oil spill.

Would love to see some more sensible opinions.

yeah man u must read the august edition of overdrive magazine.I got to read the article where the comparison between honda twister, hero honda passion pro(the new apdv model) & discover 150 was made.overdrive claimed the top speed of disco to be 101kmh & 99 of twister whereas passion could only reach top speed of 82.
I love bajaj bikes because of their good torque at low rpms and the roll on from 30-70 in their respective top gears.

Bike has gone in for first service today. Oil charges expected to be around 300. Mileage seems to be more than 60 as of now.

320 was the bill for the first service. Oil costs 275 bucks. In the 3 km ride back home, felt the clutch to be much lighter.

Gave it in the morning at 9:30 and bike was ready by 4:30 in the evening.

My BIL rode the bike and commented it was very smooth.

It should be. When we went to finalize D150, we both took for test-ride nah, I liked it much than my 135cc but no tachometer .

Today morning unfortunately the tube from fuel tap got cut and got it replaced at a nearby shop for 15 bucks, planning to change to OEM one at second service.

                                Booked D150 today!!

                                Hi all,

I was in the intrest to buy a new bike, and had come across D150. I was reading all of your reviews and feedback which also created great feel to go for this.

I booked today D150 Black with Red today. I will get the machine on Friday evening.

I expect a few suggestions from all, regarding the initial handling of the bike. What is the speed i can ride during the initial period, how many months i should continue riding that way.

During the time of booking, they showed me the extra accessories. I have gone only with Wax and Number Plate. Waxing is good?

What extra accessories needs to be added for better experience?

                                Expecting your valuable comments immediately..
