      Thanks Buddy...!

T/R here in AP is valid for 30 days from the date of bike gets it T/R. Without T/R it can tun only for 1 day from the day the bike is purchased.
They are many such cases where people do not get there bike's permanent registration number. But those are mostly the 100cc's or regular commuters that do it.

      • My cbz's front mask got cracked infact broke yesterday the plastic thing which sits on the clamp has got cut, now i am thinking of plonking the hunk mask along with headlamp assembly what i know is both the bikes share the same front ends and clamps which are provided are same where the mask sits in and a 10 size bolt goes on it.

Has anybody done it here please share your views, else will be plonking in the newer version mask

          • Hello folks, I want to have the rear of my extreme changed. I am looking for a tubeless variant not beyond 110 (I donot want to fit a larger tyre). Any suggestions in the 18 inch domain as i have only found tubeless in 17 inch not 18??

Michelin M45's are a good set. Try 4.00x18 and I think they are tubeless one. One of my friends has them on his Zma. They are soft compund and offer excellent grip on wet and dry conditions.

i guess those tires wud become to heavy for Xtreme to handle. But they are excellent tires.

if they are tubeless and soft compound ,why are they heavy ? how much difference is there in weight ?

                      • I believe Michelin has not launched tubeless versions in India. Correct me if I am wrong. Plus any pointers to the price and availability of the Michelins, as i am not in delhi..

My dad is ready to buy me the Unicorn as my back is giving me problems.
No matter how hard i try to convince him that RTR is more comfortable than the CBX he says its sporty i have to bend blah, blah.

I did what hegdeanoop said got the bike off the main stand applied the front brake started the bike revved it to 4K RPM and slowly released the clutch the bike jerks forward and stalls.SO my clutch is ok right.

I took the bike to 3 SC all said the clutch is OK.One SC guys told me they have to take the clutch assembly off and clean everything thats all the gear shift would become smooth(It has become hard).I think Castrol bike zone guys tried to cheat me but i dont no for sure.

This episode has scared the shit out of me i have to get my warranty back somehow. My bike has covered 14000KMS i never went to the SC after the 4 th service. So theoretically no warranty. This is india anything can happen looks like i have to loosen my purse but i will get "back" the warranty this week for sure.

Your clutch seems to be working just fine. Don't fiddle unnecessarily with it. On the other hand, my R15's clutch has a problem with it, the SVC Supervisor says something has gone kaput in the clutch housing&is making a weird noise while idling. No difference in running though. I am going to be taken to the Yamaha trained engineer to confirm this&get a warranty replacement soon.
CBZ-Xtreme gears get hard over a period of time. My friend Aasheesh's bike's gears have become unbelievably hard. I struggle to slot it into neutral. Every time he complains about this to the SVC, it seems fine&in a week's time its back to normal. Guess you have to live with that.
Why are you thinking of the Unicorn? I would rather suggest the GS- for your highway crusing it has an additional 6th cog.
