Whenever I press the rear one and keep it pressed at low speeds (say, in a parking lot) I get kinda pulsating feeling on the pedal. Its periodic with the tyre's motion. Why is this..? Something to worry..?

@anush, since you asked svc guy to set for performance it's possible that he might have set the max. AFR, so naturally your bike give less average..Originally posted by anush View PostOk and 1 question out of curiosity
Is it possible to complete a saddle sore on Cbz xtreme? Even if possible will it screw up the bike?
Saddle sore : It's more of man than machine, but Xtreme can do it w/o getting issues....80-85kmph means 1600kms in under 20 hours, so 4 hours will be breaks (say every 175kms). FYI, GS150 has done saddle sore, so CBZ xtreme should do it with flying colors.

Saddlesore can be easily done.
No one has tried it yet on CBZ Xtreme, you will be the first one to do if done.
People have done already on Pulsar 150.2007 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2008 - Yamaha YZF R15
2009 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2013 - KTM 390 Duke
2017 - Yamaha FZ25

Sooraj it can be due to the brake drum ovality..ie., the drum is not perfect circle..or if the wheel axle bolt to brake shoe holder assembly, has a little play and while refitting of rear wheel it is not set up properly.Originally posted by sooraj_vs View PostWhen talking about breaks, I too have something to say.

Just loosen both sprocket and axle bolts by two full turns, and also the brake stay, then while pressing hard on rear brake tighten 1,sprocket nut,...2,Axle nut,...3, brake stay nut...This will rule out the axle play incorrect mounting. If it still persists you need to change the rear brake drum (hub).Last edited by psr; 05-02-2011, 09:49 PM.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

I suspect it to be axle play. But I am NOT that kinda mech junkie that you are.Originally posted by psr View PostSooraj it can be due to the brake drum ovality..ie., the drum is not perfect circle..or if the wheel axle bolt to brake shoe holder assembly, has a little play and while refitting of rear wheel it is not set up properly.

I will let the SVC guys do it.
Shame, I cant even do some simple adjustments on my bike.

Anyways, its not that serious. Only that it spoils the feel.MOTORCYCLING IS AS MUCH ART AS IT IS SCIENCE

The AFR was put to normal after that. About saddle sore won't the engine over heat?Originally posted by vipin_s View Post@anush, since you asked svc guy to set for performance it's possible that he might have set the max. AFR, so naturally your bike give less average..
