But the parts have not been installed as yet cos of my stupidity of skipping the headlight which is expected to take the next 5 days... Lol

    • My Achiever's top end behaviour...
      > On a stretch in ring road I normally reach around 100 speedo most of the time. Stretch is 2-3 kms and irrespective of any RPM gear changes one can reach 100 in matter of 20-25 secs after a signal.
      > But today bike was reading just 80-85kmph and RPM could not go beyond 6500 RPM, but i used to reach 8000 rpm w/o any issues earlier.

      Some background
      > Bike was exposed to heavy rains 3 days back. Drove the bike in wading waters at atleast 10 places. But it was below one foot depth and silencer tip never touched water level.
      > Just changed oil yesterday b'cos oil was 4000kms old
      > Rear wheel rotates freely no problem
      > Checked underseat rubber suction port immediately after heavy rain, there was no water, in fact it was dry, so there should not be any prob with air filter clogging I guess...
      > Idle RPM is bit moody after rainy day ?
What could have gone wrong ?

        • This is what ZMR owners bought.Try these

You can use HH Oem oil for lubing chain.

          • Should we lube the chain for Hunk..? As it has covered chain, isn't lubing during servicing sufficient..?

And one more thing - I think you will need to replace sensors too. Atleast for speed and RPM. I may be wrong. Do confirm it.
Yeah u r right! gotta change the sensors too! guess its gonna be damn costly n not worth it! anyways if someone has done it or someone knows d price pls let me kno..

Yeah,Serious,Karizma's sensor will cost you 3k and for the whole speedo console,it will cost you nearly 10k,SVC quoted me the price.I had a small problem with rpm reading years back, when checked svc guys told me to change the sensor, its the sensor error,Luckily i have no money that time so postponed it for later, luckily one day it started working normal.

After cleaning try using Castrol or any good make bearing grease instead of oil,to lube the chain...on the inside of the chain which faces the sprocket......This reduces chain noise by at least 50%..I had tried it with good result,in my ZMA...In fact after some time ride becomes smooth and the free running also becomes better....

well....though we have lot of add-on feature (yes, that what they can be called....coz thy arn't performance enhancer)....still the old cbz-x 2009 models looks a lot better.... i feel clip handle bar will do add to the riding comfort in addition to substantialy adding a star to its look.....yes. the bike does look like a combination of many bikes headlight of cbz+ tank flaps of TVS + back of zmr not to forget the pointless flashy muffler.....i dnt knw hw does HH dares to do such experiment with styling... which is not at all sought after by bikers at all...instead of working on a 250cc version of cbz with larger base....thy were busy doing this???......the new cbz's styling is a total dissapointment....
