I bought the New Ebony grey Bike on Nov 3rd... It doesn't have led lights... n there can't be a possibilty to add so early either... As this would be a third upgrade in a year ( 1st is the 25th anni special edition, 2nd is the new paint scheme n now 3rd another upgrade with LED) which is ridiculous... How can HH go with 3 cosmetic changes in a single year... By the way from the Pic neither does it look like a new LED set...

Can any1 contact the nearest HH dealer n confirm the same... If LED issue is true... Please ask for the cost to change our old one with new LED one...

I do not think it is a typo Vipin, There is image too, and it is in special features section. They might have put LEDs in the tail lamp without changing the case.

            • hey guys Mileage update.

Last fill at 1400 kms. Filled up today at 1992 kms. Total fuel 11 litres.

mileage is 53 and this is with a lot of hard riding and ripping, improvement over the 45 i got the last time!

I will be going to check for my RC book tomorrow, will check if the new Hunk (how newer can it be over one I purchased on the 25th of September) does indeed have Led tail lights!

                • Guys help me!

I have noticed a strange problem on my bike today. I was doing some 70 ...
Some vehicle came on the middle of road all of a sudden and i left the accelerator at once. The RPM meter took about 10 seconds to settle back to 1500. I was surprised on such a behavior. I did the same again took till speed of 80 and left the throttle at once again and the same.... it took about 12 seconds to settle back! Is there any serious problem? I gave my bike to service 5 days ago.

PS: I got Rs 100 refund on gulf oil as the coupon inside of dhanvarsha was of Rs 100.

                  • Shockkkking Truth

Hey yest evening i had been to HH Showroom... There a new Hunk(Candy blazing red, which arrived in the morning) was undergoing general checkup as it was about to get delivered... I took a close look at the tail lamp and it was the normal one as ours lit by traditional bulbs and not the so rumored LED set...

So what do you guys think... Was it just an error in the website... or is HH really planning to revamp the Hunk with LED's and digi speedo's...

                      • Gyanodaya...

Hey guys... everyone over here... I have done 900km on my new hunk n i feel it very strange whenever i take my bike out... Say if i travel for some 10km n when i come to a standstill n put my bike on neutral my tacho idles at 2.5k(n not during very cold nights)... If I allow the engine to cool completely it again starts from 1.5k

Now I wanted to know is this common or my bike is suffering from some phobia
I'm worried coz I'm planning to have a long trip after my exams(after 25 days) Then i fear after 100km break, it would idle at 3.5k or 4k... It might harm my engine and mileage as well...

So my dear friends give me correct gyan regarding the same...

                        • ^^^ Your bike needs some tuning. The idle RPM shooting up on a warm engine can be set right by any mechanic with some experience. It is unlikely that if you run longer the idle RPM increases more... but it should be doing 2.5K at the first place.

What is the idle RPM when you restart the bike?

It usually starts from 1.5k but after a ride before i switch off engine i notice it at 2k or 2.5k... If the engine is given sufficient time to cool then it will start from 1.5k itself...

Don't mind... but can you explain me what sort of tuning should i do for my engine if i need to go for long drives... Just to protect it from high temperature damages or something similar to it...

You mentioned you ran 900 kms on the bike, so I expect the first service must be done recently. You can take the bike back to the service center and tell them to set it right. It is a tuning problem or it could be a damaged/defective sleeve in the carb which when heated could be supplying more fuel and so the problem...
