            • @above you might quote anywhere from 35-40k depends entirely on the condition of the bike

My cbz xtreme is getting THE overhaul . Just a few hundered kilometers away from 50,000 kms

              The thread is here >link<

my xtreme finished 2051 kms on odometer!gettin average about 52-55 kmpl
got maximum of 58 kmpl ridin at constant speed of 50kmph om highway!!!
but still the same old problem of hard gears and vibration prevails!!!
changed oil at 1900 kms to castrol 10w30! but there was a minor change in gear!!!but the pick up changed a lot!!reached 110 kmph in no time!!!in less time which was taken before changing oil!!!

hi chidafn, i had the same problem in my HH Hunk @ 2300Km. I changed the oil to Gulf pride 4t - 10W30 and got less vibration, smooth acceleration and easy gear change. The pick up is really good with castrol power1 10W30 but I found it also increases the heat in the engine as I used castrol power1 10W30 for 400kms and changed to gulf. Please search in engine oil thread, you'll get the answer.

Instead of city and highway average...my general average is 52. Lowest I got was 43...best 53 or so.
your typical riding conditions:- I ride for 25 kms daily in typical 6 pm city traffic on the busiest of roads in Pune and 25 kms at night, eff highway riding.
the odometer reading of your bike:4000...just today.

BTW about your average lookout all I can say is...read my post below...
