      1st Serrvie Done!

      Completed my 750 kms odo...now its time for 1st free sevice and regular tunning!
      drop my bike early morning around 8 in the morning and highlight some of the problem mentioned above!
      the Service Advice was very helpful and took great intrest in serving me...as My cbz was the very first bike to their service centre they whole staff was waiting for thier turn to cash their luck; BUT; i was no more a new bie...so i waited there to avoid any unwanted hands on my New Bike.
      Mechanic on my bike was good enough to take praper caare of work alloted to him.
      Oil leacking At clutch cover was repaired bu changing seal gas head.
      this part was not covered under warratny so i have to pay 100 buks for the totall part replaced.
      Labour Work done at free!
      Only oil was changed and general tunning done!
      Now bike is feeling Less stressed but still gear changing are on the Harder side.
      owner pls confirm-the weight balancer attached to the handle bar are free to roll or fixed tightly?
      toal kms covered 753 petrol used 14litres...AVERAGE - 54 KMPL.
      Opinions and suggestion are always welcomed!

        thats cool!!!!and congratulations for ur new ride!!!i have old version of cbz xtreme!!!its 1.5 yrs old and i've done 15k on odo!!!i get milage of 50-55kmpl when i an driving at speed of 40 to 55 kmph!!!but when i drive at 95-110 i just get and average of 40 kmpl!!!any way i m happy with its performance!!!!!

          hi guys!!!just finished 15k km on my cbz xtreme!!!i am getting mileage of 50-55kmpl at speed of 40-55kmph!!and of 43-46kmpl when i test my machine!!!i am very happy with my bike's performance!!!and one more thing!!!!not given for service since 4000 kmpl!!!because i am busy with my project!!!!but still its performance is good!!!!and i think its high time to give my bile for servicing!!!

            You can ride w/o going to svc station but do keep an eye on following,
            1. Chain slackness, correct it every 1000kms , lube it (local mechanic/HH svc station will do it for free)
            2. Check oil level, top it up if neccessary.(DIY)
            3. Grease points should be greased every 1000kms (DIY/local mechanic)
            4. If you are riding in dusty areas, keep an eye on Airfilter, clean it with compressed air gun.(DIY or any local mechanic))
            5. Ensure clutch play, air pressure, battery health. (DIY)
            6. Change rear brake pads every 10K kms. Spark plug at 15-20K.(local mechanic will do)

            My last service was '6th free svc' at 11,1XX kms and my Achiever has crossed 17.3K now, absolutely no issues. I'm planning my first paid svc next month

              Bak here after a short break. Been busy with tours. (not on bike )

              Guys, am in a dilemma. i did 1st servicing @ 312 km. now the bike has done 1.3k. i havent changed the oil after the service. now am being told that its high time that i changed the oil. second service will be at the end of this month. problem is, if i the change oil now, that oil will hardly run more than 500 kms. (which i think is too low).

              what should i do now..?

                Hello guys sry to ask this here but a friend of mine who owns a pulsar 150 is getting a weird sound from his engine or chainbox he isnt sure but the sound comes when he goes from 3rd gear and so on pls help

                    Go and get the service done and after that,change oil @ 2000kms, Then if you are using HH oil,change every 1000km ,if you are going for oils from gulf,shell,motul etc,then change every 2000-2500kms.

                      guys just tell me one thing (its not gonna change my decision to buy cbz xtreme though ) why is everyone looking for pulsar... it costs 5-6K cheaper and somewht better looks(as they say).... why not youngsters go for cbzx?? is its style and looks are no where in comparison to pulsar or its predator cbz?

                      m hel lot of confused .. . .

                        Advertisement says Pulsar as the best sports bike in india,it may be the reason for people buying pulsar,but people who needs refined and good engine will always buy the cbz instead of others.just my opinion.

                            i had done 4k kms on HH oil before my piston rings got screwed.
                            First think you are special then work towards proving it.

                              even if you getting the millage of 40kmpl with the avgerage speed of 90+kmlh i dont itz bad....its good enough to the compition!
                              can you share your experience ridding at this speed..vz..vizz vibration+handling+braking+control+etc on cbz!
