Re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
Hello Friends
Got my xtreme serviced yesterday @ 51200K on ODO.
Got the tappets adjusted exactly @ 0.06mm for Inlet and 0.1 mm for Outlet using feeler gauge. Now engine note has improved.
My mech was still telling me that why did you bought a feeler gauge
, since he does not needs one but I insisted and got the work done.
Used Petronas Sprinta 10w30 mineral oil with Nulon E-25 engine treatment.
One of my friend suggested me that Nulon is good for old bore(More than 20K), and it helps in maintaining good lubrication of engine components.
Cannot comment about its effectiveness right now. Will update you all after observing for a while.
Handle had developed some horizontal play, so got it tightened and now it's fine.
Now, I will get the rear shocks serviced very soon

Re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
Guys need to upgrade my headlight bulb. Riding in the night with stock light can become night mare. Any suggestions what bulb I can get which will not harm my battery?
BTW- Is our bike headlight high beam comes from battery or engine. Because low beam always comes from engine.KTM RC390 - Current

Re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
u can go for osram silverstar 35W which is good among 35w. u can also install 55w but it glows brightly only after 3000rpm, also dont expect same brightmess from 55w as if it would give from a DC.Originally posted by itsmevini123 View PostGuys need to upgrade my headlight bulb. Re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
55w is definitely better than stock 35w bulbs. Night visibility increases multiple folds. The spread somehow increased and more roads gets illuminated.Originally posted by itsmevini123 View PostWhich brand? And how is the light in night above 80kmph?
I changed from stock Philips 35w bulbs to Bosch 55w on my fz. Costs only ₹90.
Ride safe and have fun.
