veedol is also one of the suppliers for Hero. so the leakage is due to the gasket life span is done.

Yes but I changed the oil 3 days ago with veedol take off 4t premium. Is a top up required so soon?

actually i don't need the brightness changed.i need to stop this bad flickering at low rpms.that's why i need to convert it to full DC.ur help is very useful.thank you very much

i suggested you to do top up since you are facing oil leakage. otherwise you can check the oil level and do accordingly .

I simply replaced the 35/35w bulb with the 55/60w one.

How's the high beam low beam switching? Is it fast? What about reflector? is it heating?

And you are able to achieve the full brightness a 55/60w can produce?
Turn the engine on and switch on highbeams and then press the pass switch..If the highbeams illuminate brighter with the pass switch(which supplies power from battery) ........

I can't say that I'm getting full brightness from the 55/60 w bulb, since the headlight is AC powered.
But still, it's definitely better than the stock Halonix 35/35 w bulb, and this arrangement is serving my purpose.

Condition of reflector is also fine, and there is no sign of melting/burning.
If I'm correct then abhisheklalnediya is also using the same arrangement in his xtreme since last 2 years.

Thanks guys.
My gap was too much more than .10mm just measured and adjusted to around 8.5mm.
anyway i have question can i install iridium plug on our hunk/xtreme that has a heat range of 8 and later if i adjust the gap to our hunk/xtremes modified spec?

Set the gap between 0.7 to 0.8 mm
Why do you want to mess with different heat range plugs. Stick to stock plug or get a compatible iridium from ngk (not that it might make a great difference, but if you do get an iridium plug, do not try to clean it the conventional way or play with the gap..use it as is.)

Hello friends,

Update:
Its 6500+ kms on odo. Changed oil to shell AX7, seems to be like xtreme lost its punch. Bike not revving like it was doing it before. Is there any break in period for engine oil also? Because i had used veedol 4t premium oil twice & both time experienced bike little bit harsh at the beginning but getting smoother as oil gets older. So should continue with this oil considering fact it will also gets smoother with time?
Also changed front fork oil. Bike front suspension getting smoother with more kms it covering.
Now the issue i am facing
If i ride bike alone & leave hands off the handle bike travels straight. But in case i am with pillion & do the same, it turns to left instead of going in straight line. Showed this ASC, mech there told me that this is due improper Tyre fitment on front alloy wheel, while his supervisor told me bike is good, there is no problems. Tell me guys why is it happening.?
What could be problem?
Thanx in advance.

I had posted a while back explaining what all problems AX7 does , that oil is not suited for xtreme hence the lack of punch . Since you have poured in the oil drive for 1500 -1700kms and change to Takeoff premium . Ask someone to put weight on rear seat and then from front rotate wheel and see if it deviates from straight line. Also do front end alignment since you changed fork oil it might be possible that alignment could have changed . As kms rack up fork oil loses viscosity hence bottoming out . I change it around 8-9k kms since it doesnt cost much

AX7 comes in different grades like 20W40, 10W40 etc, which one you bought?
I am currently on AX7 10W40, seems to be fine for me.
