Tough question, I got my 2008 model Hunk for 26k in 2012, with not so good engine that has run 20k on odo!
Xtreme has better resale value than Hunk and your bike looks to be in great condition. Also, check out Olx/Quikr for used Xtreme in your locality, which will help you in identifying right price for your bike!

8 months old Hero Hunk rear suspension making noise on small bumps..

I have an 8 month old hunk. Until now there was no problems. But now it after my third service, some sort of noise is coming from the rear suspension while on small bumps and all.. The noise is just like the noise coming from the rear suspension of passion pro and all...a gas releasing like noise. When my bike was brand new I didn't have this kind of noise. I had to ride through rain last week and after that only I am noticing the noise. What could be the problem? Please help me out guys..

Settle with the Xtreme, if its working fine and serving your needs, then theres no point in replacing it.

Its working perfect and its hard to leave it.

What is the reason for moving on.
I am asking because extreme is one balanced bike when it comes to power,mileage, handling, maintenance.
Why not go for ZMR.

Reason is to get some thing better.
Xtream is a good byke. Will recommend it to any one. I posted it for 45K on olxand quikr, one guy quoted 35K from OLX , I think 35 is a good deal I can get.

ZMR, I think its over priced and don't like the new one's look(old one was better). Also less techy when compared to 200 engine which is built over KTM.
If pocket allows will go for Bullet 500.

I am also planning to buy a bull.... with my budget i can afford std 350 n electra... cant afford classic n std 500... its for long rides.. stilll thinking about it...
But will never sell my Xtreme..

Best of luck for your new bike. I do not think ZMR is less techy as it is the fuel injection which i love. Moreover that engine is super for touring.

And yeah the 200 NS is a very good bike. Will keep you entertained for quite a time.

But something better is a question mark. Why?

Let me tell you something. I have a Joy and Extreme. Besides i also thought my extreme is better than my Joy.

But recently i had to take the Joy to my work place for three weeks. My work place is 170 kms from Home. On monday i ride to work place, do local running there, return on saturday again 170 kms.

Some of my beliefs were shattered:-

1. First thought was i will be late than extreme. But all was blown away as it took only 20 mins exta.

2. Second thought was speed will be slow. But man i was never more wrong. As bike was easily climbing to 70-80 kph.

3. Smoothness- More smooth than extreme period.

Some thoughts, but i do not say that bigger bikes are not better. Extreme has lots of positives over Joy.

But my point was a better bike. In what way are you looking from better than extreme. So look into that and buy as sometimes our expectation and buying becomes opposite.

Chock piston or chock cable may faulty. There may be rust on chock piston, it may not seat properly, so consume more fuel and emit white smoke.
