The contact details you will find herewith in the photos of the bills. And yes, he does work under supervision. Or so I think. I've seen people hang around. Pretty transparent chap.

I am currently on Honda Throttle. Which is 17km old. :P

Posting here all the bills I got for today. Excluding the Honda Throttle, which cost me Rs. 504. So, all inclusive, the service cost me 3428 + 504 = Rs. 3,932. The bike definitely feels better. And gear shifts seem a lot slicker now. The front suspension is also a bit more stiff and adds a lot of stability to the bike.

And shoeb2015 . Bang on with the price estimates! It ended up costing around about what you suggested earlier!

Hi mates i an back... now my Cbz clocked 26000km... last service @25,500km pending bcoz now I hate Authorised service... my left back shock is little cracked and oil leaking... I never adjusted shock.. so I myself inspected shock and found that the left shock is one step upper than other one that's why its damaged. My front right shock is now oil leaking... the funny thing is its after fork oil change... next day I visited there to tell them oil is leaking they said its normal and blaa blaa blaa... any way I don't want any authorised gismos anymore... the best is going for local workshop so that we can see what they r doing in our ride.

Fork oil seal is blown, change it else you will keep losing oil and end up with low oil damaging fork tube and spring. Seal costs less than 100rs and if possible get that changed asap, btw very nice and cleanly kept bike

Hello guys,

I am a recent Honda CB Trigger owner, still posting in this thread because CB Trigger thread has almost no active members.
Thus wanted to have your views on one query regarding 'Run in' period, which is common for all bikes.

I have done around 330 km as off now and I have read somewhere that the engine oil should be changed at around this time and postponing the first servicing to 600-650km.
Do you recommend this ?? Will this at all help in better run in??
I found this quite logical as this will remove any metal parts scrapped off during first few kilometers.

Please advice

Better post this type of question in dazzler or unicorn thread

Well you should change it as soon as possible

Its not that important but its good to change it

It shall fit - that's not the problem . The problem is that the one you got is a different heat rate than recommended by Hero , and that too it's moved 2 grades . So change the plug to the OE heat rated one ( CPR8EA9 ) of NGK make .

Firstly about the rear shocks , the Hero authorised service is likely to insist that you have maladjusted the left and right one and so you are responsible for the problem . Better adjust both the shocks equal before you visit them , and claim damages . Rear shocks aren't exactly cheap .
Secondly , while you replace the oil seal on the front , it would be prudent to change both sides and the oil too . That is because if one of them has failed from wear the other side cannot be far from it . Also you'd never know how much of which oil was put into the tubes , so to keep them equal both sides should be drained and changed . Pref the parts cleaned out before that too .
It is not at all normal for shocks to dribble any oil . Sorry for your predicament caused by these stupid service people .

My xtreme has some staring problem in gears. It won't start when engaged in gears but every time when i press the start button and just release the clutch lever it get started. I have said to the ASC but mechanic said it's not a problem it is due to bad switch contact. What do you think guys...!!

It's just a small problem (from what I know) just get the switch on the clutch cleaned or replaced. That shall solve it
