Hey come on.... ideally a bike's handle shouldn't oscillate to both sides on a decent road at any speeds, whether it is alloy/steel rim based.
I've personally experienced the oscillation OP has mentioned on my bike, and it has disappeared after I replaced the cone set.
There is some problem with his bike, please help him to sort it out.

Between, got the air filter changed today and carb tuned. Let me check the performance and mileage before fiddling with the carbon filled silencer...

You know that old saying right that goes something like 'the rabbit I caught has 3 ears'.

Well its something like that. Don't worry unless its affecting ride quality, else ignore.

Guys, while the new batches of Hunk and Xtreme doesn't have kickstart, it's worrying me. As my home is faraway from my working place and I live alone, i've to keep the bike in garage for 2-3 days. (I've faced it numerous times) While returning back , it becomes a pain to start the engine. Even with choke on, It refuses to start for 15-20 mins and holding the Starter button to bring the engine back to life takes quite a effort and looks ridiculous when neighbors see your bike from terrace with smirks. I really have to find a down slope to drag the bike and keep it in gear to bring the bike to life. Its quite irritating and exhausting. My concern is that in a few months, I'll take a long leave say 15-20 days and my bike will just sit in the garage & go to deep sleep. What will happen if i return back ? I believe the engine won't start and then I've to wait for one complete day try to starting it. Is there any option to prevent this kind of behavior ?

Can we install Kick-start in our Hunk and if yes what'll be the cost ?? Expecting reply from experienced members.

This starting trouble shouldn't be there normally. I'd advice you get the tank, petcock, carb cleaned up and tuned correctly. Also do get the valve clearances checked and adjusted.
This is the option to prevent the kind of behavior your bike is exhibiting

Feeling happy.. today checked my xtreme's mileage and surprised to see it gives 60 kmpl on average road conditions. Speed was maintained below 55 kmph..

New spark plug+ proper carb tuning+clean air filter+recomended tyre pressure=60 kmpl!!!

Even after months of idle time my ZMA starts on self start, I just pull the dist cap crank a few times and then put the cap back on and crank it, comes to life. The choke on my bike is stuck, and I never bothered getting it fixed.

First and foremost check if your AF and SP are in good condition if they're older than 10k kms I'd suggest you change them. Then see if the carb is properly tuned or not, ideally a CV carb will have near perfect tune within 3~3.5 turns.

To start a bike we need 3 things. Air/fuel mixture, compression and spark.
The compression is not much that in priority. Even a bit less compression will crank your bike. But a correct air fuel mixture and adequate amount of spark is very important to ignite that fuel, then only a engine can start. The more the prefect mixture, the stronger the spark will absolutely start the engine at one kick/self and will never give a problem.
So first go with checking the spark. Open the spark plug cap, start the bike and check spark if its gives strong blue spark and that can be streach upto 1 inch. If yes then its ok.
Open the spark plug and check the condition. It should have brownish/chocolate (oh man I love Bournville)/redish color. If yes then the mixture is correct. If u r not able to make out then post a picture here.

Apart from this, if spark plug is too old or u have ran more than 10k then better change it. Then only get the carb tuned as changing the spark plug will change the firing.

Also get the carb cleaned and tappet adjust...
                  What else u can do...
Check the battery if not that fault.
I'm sure doing this much will solve your problem.

Hope you don't have any embbarassing moment in the future.
Don't worry. Your bike will once again will be starting at one self.

                              Hello everyone

                              Recently got my ride serviced
From a local mechanic at 27000km odo reading and he messed with the AFR . The bike is low on power and has lot of vibes now.
Today opened the spark plug and was shocked
Before service it was perfect golden brown color

I will get the AFR adjusted tomorrow and use 2t oil as sibun mentioned. Now shall I replace the sparkplug . Any advices are welcomed
