I used to fill in petrol for 200 rs ie around 2.xxl so can he mix 2~3ml of 2t oil??
what you get in the bottle and the one Pre-mixed with petrol are the same. just an easier way to dispense it.
You also get the 2t oil in small sachets of 40-50ml .. buy it and transfer it in to a small plastic bottle. whenever you fill up petrol just squeeze out a few drops. If you want to be more precise, use a syringe (i used to do that)
But I wouldn't use it every time i fill up.. maybe once every other time or on long rides.

abhisheklalnediya- 2T oil found premix is same but never go for those as those have 2% mix and thus 20 ml per litre. Get a pouch or half litre bottle of motul 2T. Servo is also JASO FC certified and is good. Mix at the rate of 1ml per litre which will cause no harm and will protect the tank from corossion. Mixing more will cause problems like carbon and spark plug fouling. What you can do is use for two fillings and stop using for another two fillings.

Extreme and Hunk both may have same specification but are different in their way. While the hunk has a more upright position with forward placed foot pegs, the extreme has slightly sporty position with Rear set footpegs. While the Hunk has a single seat while extreme has a split seat, i find the extreme seat is very comfortable than Hunk. Extreme is very tall and almost feel like sitting on balcony. In the other end the tank of huk is muscular and feels meaty to hold.

And the most important thing is that Extreme has a slightly better top speed than Hunk. So decide what you like.
Jith_in- Seat covers may cost from Rs.150 to Rs. 500 depending upon the materials and quality.

            Bought this thing from hp.

filled 3 l petrol including reserve
            added 3 ml oil

First after a 100m i felt a small drop in power

Then I started experiencing the engine become more smooth, like I lost some thing.

Will go a long ride tomorrow and test.

Hi guys , i hav cbz xtreme 2012 model ,
Recently i converted my bike to complete dc electricals ,
I did stator coil rewinding with 18g wire , bought ape rr and did the proper wiring as given in other thread . I checked the battery volt with engine stop and all electricals on . It showed some drop in voltage , 13.50 volt and thn did this test again with engine on , it showed constant 14 .xx volts , the auto electrician said this is normal and my battery is getting charged properly ,
I want to know how much watts my coil is genrating and at wht amp rate ?
I hav not installed any hid or spot lights yet but soon i wil put 55w Philips crystal vision .

Recently one of our xBhpian's Hunk (2010 model, approximately 25k on odo) started making mild sewing machine noise, and the valve clearance was adjusted and still it was making noise. His local trusted mechanic suspected rocker arm problem. When I enquired about the process of valve clearance adjustment, my friend didn't recollect the mechanic adjusting the valve clearance after ensuring the piston at TDC. I explained him the process and importance of adjusting the valve clearance when the piston at TDC in compression stroke. Later after a few days, the noise increased a bit more and my friend gave the bike for service and they said they adjusted the valve clearance. The mild noise was still there, and after 3 days, my friend called me and said he was worried about his bike's noise. I was shocked to listen to the engine noise, when he was just arriving. The noise was hammering, a sharp clicking noise from the head. The tensioner and timing chain replaced very recently and problem with them was ruled out.

We decided to replace the rocker arms, and I was able to source only Unicorn's rocker arms, and with Shoeb's confirmation, went ahead and bought Honda Unicorn's rocker arms, INR 613 a pair. Later that day we opened the head at my mechanic's place, and we found one of the rocker arm (intake valve) gone bad. The roller has developed a lot of play and its making hell lot of clicking noise. I have taken a video depicting the play of the roller. Normally there should not be any play when you move the roller up and down. The exhaust valve rocker arm appeared fine, but we went ahead and replaced both the rocker arms. Set the valve clearance at 0.08 mm (intake valve) and 0.12mm (exhaust valve) as per Shoeb's recommendation.

At the end of the video, you can see the second rocker arm with no play at all.

My mechanic suspected that there could be a problem with fuel pump getting clogged up, and so we opened the clutch case. There is lot of dirt trapped in oil strainer (screen), centrifugal rotor, and oil pump, which have not been cleaned anytime before. We cleaned everything, and my mechanic suspected the oil pump not rotating freely, and he suggested to replace it. We bought a new oil pump and noticed difference in free rotation between the old and new (though I suspect the old one still working, I went ahead changing it to clear any doubts). Filled in Honda 10w30 oil 1.1L and ensured proper level.

The head of the Unicorn/Xtreme/Hunk engine is simple an great to work with. The cam shaft and rockers arms sit in a removable block and easy to work with setting valve clearances. To my surprise, the finishing of the outside of the block appeared very rough with crack lines visible (only superficial). Surprised to see such rough engine part in Honda engine. You can see the same in the following pics.

You can see rusty finishing of the cam shaft.

Finishing on the outer layer of the camshaft block

The new rocker arms are placed

Right side crack case open, shows clutch assembly, primary gear on crankshaft, new oil pump below it.

You can see the oil strainer (screen) at the bottom. It sits in a small compartment, and engine oil is squeezed through it trapping bigger particles. Unfortunately, couldn't take the pics of the dirty screener.

You can see the centrifugal filter (rotor) which traps micro particles suspended in the oil. Cleaning it every 10k kms once is needed, along with oil strainer (screen filter).

RESULT: The bike started with second push of the electric switch. The noise was all vanished and its super silent. We took a test ride, and I found the bike to be quick in the lower gears. Previously, due to the roller play in the inlet rocker arm, the inlet valve was not opening fully allowing less AF mixture into chamber. Now this is rectified and bike was eager to rev.

                So, thats the story.

                  Hi Friends,

Sorry for posting after a long gap...
My xtreme has clocked 34.5 K on odo.
Now I'm facing a few problems.

                  1. There is a feeling of jerk whenever I shift gears(Clutch plates are local ones and 7 K old!). Can I use Genuine Unicorn clutch and friction plates, since they are comparitively cheaper. What other components should be checked to eliminate this jerk issue.

                  2. Handle bar is making kat-kat noise, whenever Front brakes are applied. Looks like cone set is busted. Should I go for genuine or SKF cone set.

                  3. I have replaced the head cover gasket more than 6 times in 2.5 Years, but every time engine oil starts leaking(although marginally) after few days. Is there any permanent solution to this issue?

Always use genuine parts no matter what the cost since they'll last long and u wont have to go to the mech often. For head gasket( head beading) buy it from svc ,costs 50 bucks and fit it without using any gasket sealant, and scrape off any previous sealant if you had applied before fitting the new beading.

Regarding the oil leak issue from head cover area, I have never used any gasket sealant till now, but my mechanic was suggesting to try thin layer of Anabond this time.
Can anybody throw some light on the clutch and handle issue...

20w40 is too thick for xtreme or hunk , but you can use 10w40 , which is suitable for.long rides or harsh summer rides
