abhisheklalnediya- Nice pair of horns. I have upgraded to twin horns of pulsar as it was more sounding to distant area and has great piercing sound. Since my bike runs most of the time on highways( infact all the time on highways), and the horn reach quite far. But the horns that you have posted will work a lot better in city roads, but be sure to use relay to increase their effectiveness BloggingWheels- Ceat zoom that you have shown comes in tubeless ones also as my mechanic has confirmed the same as he stocks ceat tyres and those tyres are excellent when it comes to grip. Try to search for tubeless ones and go only for tubeless as i have seen the benefits myself, so will never go for tube type again.@itsmevini- I have already posted before always use OE pads as they are best and are made by ANL. When it comes to brake pads nothing comes close to OE pads. It is for no reason that OE pads cost Rs. 354 and ASK pads Rs. 120. Always use OE pads petrolhead_chn - For opening the seat in old model cbz then just turn the lock under seat with the key. Then behind the lock there will be a lever, pull that and lift the rear of seat. This will unlock the seat and then slid it slightly backwards and take out the seat.If the seat is jam, then pulling the lever behind lock bang the rear of seat 4-5 times and it will become unstuck.@all- I think my CBZ EXTREME rear tyre is gone. It is not worn out, but what has happened that a 4" nail has entered the tyre from middle and has come out from the side of the threads at the left side. Thank god that the tyre is tubeless, absolutely no leaks and pressure in the tyre is still hard. Once i pull out the nail, i am sure the tyre needs to be changed. Since i am at my place of posting which is a small place, i have let the nail be as it is. This saturday when i will go to bhubaneswar, will take it to my mechanic and then we will see what to do.Also recently i filled at a petrol pump that was other than what i regularly fill, and boy that pump was a dacoit. The fuel was adulterated and after traveling for 50-60 km bike felt rough and hesitated to pull.If somebody cheats in quantity i do not mind but if some pumps cheat on quality then i get quite pissed off. I was feeling like giving a kick to his balls for the same. This Saturday will drain the tank and fill up from my known pump. This saturday and sunday will also have to work on my Joy. Will be pretty busy weekend for me.First priority is work on my Joy, then cleaning the tank of extreme and then tyre. If will not get time will let the nail as it is and next sunday will think about it.

200kms done so far on Zoom. No fishtailing and decent grip....Originally posted by BloggingWheels View PostHi,
I was surveying the tyre market for some good rear tyres for our Hunks/Xtremes in the 100/90-18" range. Based on some user feedback and self intuition, I found
Ceat Zoom and
Ceat Vertigo as good options. However, these are the tubed type (TT) variants. I am planning to get rid of the ever fishtail-lover Zapper Y with any one of these. Under panic braking, Zapper Y acts as if the rear wheel isn't there at all!
and is enough to give the rider a heart attack!
Anyone who is/are using the tyres mentioned could please share their short review on the same. Though I theoretically know that given our machines, TT tyres can be easily used on a TL alloy, still I would want someone using such a setup for some inputs on this dilemma. Preferably under the situations :
1. Panic Braking
2. Acceleration and
3. High Speed Riding.
Thanks
Acceleration is better than my ZapperQ, but of course it was larger(120/80)

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
Mine is 2008 Hunk and came with tubed tires. The CEAT ZOOM I bought is tubed as well.Originally posted by BloggingWheels View Post^^ Are you using the tubeless or TT version of the Zoom? And is it Zoom C/R?
Can tubeless tires fitted in the old alloy wheels too?
Anyways, I ride mostly in city and under normal speeds. Also, don't want to face issues like air leak thru side walls. So thought TT will just be fine.
I didn't get your question - "Zoom C/R?"

Clean Carb, clean/change air filter, use Semi synthetic 10w40 oil and check spark plug.Originally posted by vrm_venkat1 View PostMy 2011 CBZ Xtreme have facing some issue now a days. Zoom C/R refers to the tyre model, as in - CEAT Zoom R and Zoom C.Originally posted by SatSon View PostCan tubeless tires fitted in the old alloy wheels too?

For your previous question: No, TL tyres cannot be fitted on a TT alloy. As the construction is different. TL tyres depend on the beading of the tyre wall gripping (almost to the point of sticking) with the alloys inner rim part. That allows the tyre to be mounted, air to be filled and ensure that the pressure inside the tyre makes the wall stick to the alloy rims.

Cbz extreme modification
Hey guyz my name is shahbaaz i stay in bangalore. I'm planning to modify my cbz to look good nd even perform better
Problems in this bike is
1) it has a sort of sould in it rear something like chain vigirously rubbing against chain guard
2) it gives a milage of about 50km per 1.26 lts(which is comparatively less as i have herd that cbz 2008 model gives 50-55 per liter)
3) this is the main prob IT LOOKS LIKE AN UNCLES BIKE as i am a college student i need something which is a bit cool u would agree with me right..
What i have in mind
1) I am planning to change the swingaram and go for a mono swingarm i guess unicorn v1 or v2 one is better but im open for suggestion
2) get it a good paintjob.. Colors in my mind is matt finished red full (open for suggestion as where could b beter in bangalore)
3) i need some serious advice about milage and that chain rubbing sound against chainguard coz my last option will be ditching the chain guard
4) for the front end i am thinking of fixing a digital speedometer which should work perfectly and planning to remove the stock mask and give it some good look(please suggest me something)
5) Oil which i have to use. My regular mechanic says he puts castrol 4t something i guess bt which would be much better
6) As i change the swingarmthe main question is about airfilter which would b beter
This are the things what i want to do.. But please feel free to advice me as i am a kind off noob in dis process as before this i had mod my yezdi classic 2 but at the end it was not as satifactory and the end product was not as i thought would be nd with utter dissapointment sold it. I dont wat the same thing to happen again. Plz help me.. And if possible pleas give me an idea of cost estimation because as i told i am a student and i need to squeez money out off my pocket so..

I don't have a multimeter, will try getting oneOriginally posted by shoeb2015 View Post@ abhisheklalnediya
I will post a wiring diagram tomorrow.
Can you check if there is a diode between b and s using a multimeter ? I am sure there won't be any but just check it out.

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
It is close to 3k kms after overhaul and I took the bike to 80kmph yesterday(with pillion onborad), but the bike was struggling at that speed, and was not moving above that easily. I didn't try full throttle though. I could sense some blank spots on acceleration and there were blank spots on deceleration too.
The bike misfires occasionally on deceleration after speeding for 60+kmph for few seconds. The bike heats up a bit more.
Also, the mileage is still 38-39 kmpl in city. Sadly, I have been getting almost this mileage even before overhaul.
I suspect if the exhaust could be a problem here. The bike was run for almost 10k with smoking exhaust that could've completely clogged exhaust.
Mechanic had told he has cleaned the exhaust with Kerosene, I don't completely believe, because there is hardly any engine sound coming thru exhaust even now.
This is just my assumption, pour in your thoughts please.
