Usually the oil burning stains are sticky and doesn't leave easily. What he will do is burn the carbon with blow torch which will make the gummy residue to get burned and fall off as powdery carbon.
I was thinking of something like cleaning with Kerosene without opening like shoeb2015 said once.
Bit worried on cutting the silencer and getting it welded back properly, and that have to live with those welding marks
Let me check if I can get a good welder.

That was applicable if carbon was less. But with the oil in silencer it will be sticky goo. Think about it will you be able to clean the head without opening it. Same way and rest worried whole silencer needn't be cut but at same points where company has welded. After that get powder coated or paint it black with heat resistant paint. From many days i have been telling you to open the engine but you didn't listen. Its for nothing that it is said- "A stitch in time saves nine".

Hi its 30K,

Is it time to change front fork oil??
I am getting a tuck feel when dropping on deep gutter.
To day I presssssed it hard while holding front break, with out any trouble I can reach the top 90% if the shock.

Will getting oil change give much difference??

Please suggest me which oil is good and is there any thing to take care when changing oil??

Have you changed fork oil before?

If not then its high time you do it, You can use variety of brands namely veedol, gulf, escorts etc

dont go for castrol as it will make forks very hard

You will need 155+-2ml if you just drain and refill

Use a beaker, graduated one

Take care to tie calipers by string, don't let it hang lose

Thanks Sibun for clarifying my doubts. I shall get the mod done soon.

@princesirohi Can you please let me know a good auto electrician in/around Pune who can do the mod or where you got it done on your bike.

Start with following checks
1 . front tyre air pressure 32psi max
2 . There is a thing called tyre beading, if it goes bad same wobbling is felt but at 70+speeds
3.Vibrations are somewhat different, it may or may not be present above 50,mine has vibes from 50-65 then its pure bliss
4 . Check for any bolt or component loose, rattling causes vibes
5.if steering head bearing is worn like mine has then vibes on handle increase and handling is affected, just put center stand and raise front wheel up, give tap on either side of handle when straight, if it goes smoothly to other side means bearing is good, if it gets stuck then bearing ia gone

But are you suggesting 32psi for front?
Anything above 26 is not good.

I too feel like it should be issue with cone set, I had this issue and it has disappeared after I got a new cone set.
Hunk/Xtreme's OE cone set costs around Rs.350

Okay.
For TT tire it is 25 mentioned in manual, what is the recommended pressure for TL tires (new models) ?

Hi mate, I see you're from Kottarakara, I grew up there in Neelaswaram. Anyways regarding your query, the bike is designed to perfection, such that without any input from the rider the bike can level itself, and the minor movement you notice is the bike making corrections to move in a straight line. In short its completely normal.

are you serious ?? The wobble/flapping of handle bar is NOT normal !
He needs to check the items as mentioned by RohIIT a couple of posts earlier.. and front tire pressure should ideally be around 28-30max.

The bike resumes to go in a straight and as far as it does that self corrections are made and thats why the handle moves slightly, its searching for the perfect line, if theres something bent then the bike would pull to one side rather than continuing in a straight line.
There are a lot of variables that come into play and explaining everything would take some time, rather I would suggest you watch 'Twist of the Wrist 2 by Keith Code'

What ashwinprakash has said is true.

The bike wheels are like giant gyroscope, the more faster they rotate the more stable they are. The said slight right left oscillation of handle doesn't come at all speed. It will come only at certain speed. Below that speed no oscillation and above that speed no oscillation. Happens in mine extreme as in some speed.

It happens because as when tire runs it wears down and after some times it wears in such pattern that it cause minute vibration on level road. When it reaches the oscillation speed that is when the frequency of rotation of tyre reaches same as its gyroscopic force then the handle will move slightly right and left to balance itself when handle is left.

Above that speed the gyroscopic force will increase which will keep the wheel straight and below that speed the oscillating frequency is not high enough to cause any difference.

Try this experiment:-

On a empty place climb till speed of 70 kph and then leave the handle bar, bike will travel straight and speed will fall. Then after some time at a particular speed the oscillating movement will start, it will increase as speed falls then after some speed fall the oscillation will stop on its own.

This is only found in alloy wheel as it is too stiff to absorb the resonance. In spoke wheels the spokes have enough flex to absorb those resonance.

In my joy i can just stick the throttle with a coin and sit with the bike running straight for miles.
