        • aahhh you looking good with the bag at back...
          so wat you do...?
which bike do you own before CBZ?
i had done around 125 kms in merely 48 hrs(2days).
till date i had completed 950 kms in just 22 days...1000kms runinng report pending!
i changed the oils at 150kms then 350 kms and then at 1 free service at 750kms.
make sure you use bottle packed HH engine oil instead of SCV BULK CONTAINERS.
what the name of city/state you are currently in---whats the on road cost of dual disk model.
you can read the whole thread for my bike price distribution and other helpful information for a new bike by other bhp=ians.

First of all, NO MODS DURING RUN IN.
This is my policy, however small the mod may be. Atleast for 2k kms, let her be herself. Later we shall think of all the fancy things.
Regarding run-in, dig up this thread. It has been discussed in detail several times.

And what do you intend to keep on the leg guard..?

Yea, ideally you should. (which I didn't do )
Best if you change at 250, 500 and then 1000.

And one more thing. Don't always do < 3k RPM. Vary the RPM. Take it to 5 or 5.5 once in a while, but very gently. After 500 kms, do ride aound 50 - 60 kmph.

                    • Inspected the spark plug yesterday. (I have the pics, but unable to upload).
Electrodes were dark and metallic in appearence. Neither white, nor too black. Threads near the electrodes appeared dark in colour.

                      What does this indicate..? Laen/rich/normal..?

A light tan color indicates optimal AFR setting, dark means rich and very light means lean. Guess yours is optimal and nothing to worry.

Hi guys, thank u'all for ur valuable suggestions and help. I have got my new CBZ Xtreme 2011 Black Color - Single Disc(Double Disc Sold out). I haven't came across a single cbz xtreme 2011 in whole Dehradun till now.

@ Showroom 5:30 Pm : Me with me few frnd reached nearby HH showroom, i was dispppointed to know dat Double disc CBZ was sold out and next Lot was to come 4-5 days back. I was all set to buy my bike today only. So i opted for single disc model of the same. all file work done, hardly 30-35 min and i was having the first feel of my sweetheart... Black beauty (with a lot of power within). I started the ignition and here goes my RPM needle over around ... the feel of engine was jus awesome, i jus felt immense power under my wrist, which i had/have to control. den drove back to nearby temple for holy worship..everyone on d street was looking and was amazed to see my machine.. there faces were like WOWWWWW!!!! ..

@ First impression:Its one of the thing dat puts CBZ apart from too common Pulsar. Then the party at office.and after dat i was so curious to test my machine,i filled 5 LT of petrol and i was off to the market..

@Driving Exp : i was so clunky at the start.. but once i got the rythm of my bike it was just like handling a cycle with 150cc engine fitted within . I have heared dat cbz feel lighter dan its counterparts due to its even weight balance and i found it exactly the same. it doesnt feel heavy (143Kg though),so cornering and handling was like one handed cycle riding.. brakes were average and smooth. my frnd behind me was feeling comfortable throughout... even i sat behind once and there was no effect of any speed breakers. GRS suspension works wats its expected frm.overall fantastic . 20 Km : Day 1
Tomorrow morning i m heading for another famous temple near by, Round trip will be around 40-50 Km,will share u pics afterdat...

@Missing : headlight parking lamp (Not a big deal), ignition swich on handle bar (hmm dats wat was expected).. still not a big deal :P

So guys i m very happy after ha,ving my love with me,i am a very big fan of this beautiful bike. I cant express my feelings today, its above all... Thanks for reading my post and ur suggestion..

Pics will be uploaded tomorrow... Thanx xBhp!!!
Congrats !! Yes CBZ feels lot lighter than weight that is on paper. Do a careful run-in and wish you happy biking

                              • hello,
i bought my cbz xtreme digital(single disc) few days ago....
its done a mere 63 km yet...
i thing i would like to ask is when we talk about idle rpm do we mean it when the engine is just started or do we mean it when the engine has done a few kms...
my bike shows rpm of 1.1 when started however when travelled 5 -6 km and then put on neutral it shows 1.7 which gradually comes to about 1.4 or 1.5...
plz explain and all the other suggestions would be welcomed
                                thanks...
