Longterm fuel efficiency would be consistent
60-70 is what i do 90% of times. Its almost like a perpetual run-in..

Yea, thats true. And I enjoy every bit of that acceleration. But that doesn't make me do speeds beyond my confidence limit.
Aneesh, wats your normal speed range..?

Clip on handle bars give better handing. And if its adjustable one then one can adjust according to the rider's requirement.

I actually haven't ridden the new CBZ yet. The previous version has good handling but steady as a cruiser at speeds above 80.

only if you want to extract better mileage figures later then you should do this cuz most probably this will reduce top end of your bike a bit & it'll become sluggish while crossing 100k's & going above it..you should always open engine(not literally ) time to time..

+ 1 to that. Even at speeds of 70, handling is so stable but very less flickable.

The new CBZ is moving out of showrooms in good numbers. Actually it looks pretty good in flesh. Looks better than the old one.

AFAIK, clip-on handle bars can do nothing towards improving the bike's handling. Ofcourse they have some advantages like being adjustable (if they are), in case of breaking can be replaced partially, and the looks factor too.
The normal single piece handle is not that bad either. Even 1250 cc Bandit comes with simple handle bars.

old one peice rod handle baars?? Why calling it like that? Its not out of fashion,as Sooraj said, still many bike comes with bar handles, for eg Ninja 650.

Also heard that Clipons are more stronger than bar handles.

Normal handle bars are used in commuters, street bikes, tourers and cruisers. But clip ons are used in sport bikes, super sport bikes and super bikes.

do they help in absorbing Vibration levels at high speed?

Clip ons are used to make the riding position more sportier(more leaning forward). To get better aerodynamics and better handling as they are directly connected to fork tubes. Vibration won't be reduced unless some kind of dampers are used.
