Honda engines definitely do have better heat tolerance.

Will it handle if i maintain it above 100 and i wonder if my bike can handle it as i changed the piston rings at 11k. Check my thread http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/help-me/...bz-xtreme.html

Shame, I cant even do some simple adjustments on my bike.
Anyways, its not that serious. Only that it spoils the feel.

It is better to keep the RPM/SPEED of any engine within 75% of it's rated capacity for reliability, and longevity.

bro i think 20w40 grade oil reduces top speed to a little extent. i also felt that bike revs less while using this grade of oil though bike becomes smoother...
what do you have to say about this?

                  • I followed PSR's instruction and got 49 mileage(with pillion). I didn't cross 50 and shifted under 4 rpm. Last time when i did that i got 56

Whenever I press the rear one and keep it pressed at low speeds (say, in a parking lot) I get kinda pulsating feeling on the pedal. Its periodic with the tyre's motion. Why is this..? Something to worry..?
I'm having the same feeling, instead on pedal i feel it on saddle. Mine is a Hunk double disc. What could the problem?

                      Regards.

You feel breaking in your saddle ?..I think your disc is warped and feeling the varying friction in the saddle...were you involved in any kind of accident which might have caused a a slight bend in the disc ?

60Kmph is a good FE speed provided you reach it slowly, without wacking the throttle...still 49 does not seem to be a good mileage for the slower speed and acceleration you had done..Is it close to the company claimed FE...
Check your Air filter, and how good is your engine oil ?and your spark plug ?

Then you must check and adjust your AFR setting, and also keep a tag on the tire pressures. What is the company claimed FE
