Re: Headlight of Fazer.... Nightmare
There could be slight bend in the front rim. How many kms on odo? Also, check for the travel of forks. They should travel equally on both sides.Originally posted by abhi_szr View Post

Re: Headlight of Fazer.... Nightmare
I had a similar issue with my FZ but on the other side. The SVC mechs tried to rip me off saying it's a chassis bend and would require 18k to repair. I rode with this slight bent for months until I went a roadside mechanic. He figured out it was a problem with the handle adjustment. That big nut/screw thing near the console.Originally posted by abhi_szr View PostGreetings to fellow XBHPians. I have bought yamaha fazer three months ago and experiencing a problem, don't know if it is major or not. While riding on a straight stretch if i leave handlebars (i know it is not safe, but dit it intentionaly to check and confirm problem), bike tends to steer left. Just after leaving handlebar, it initialy steers to right and just in a second leans to left side. I talked to service centre guys and they said all handle alignment is fine. I feel like while turning or cornering, its easy to turn it right with just a flick but a little resistance is there while turning it to left.
It will be great if anyone could help me with this. Thanks in advance..
put the bike on the center stand and push the back of the bike so that the rear tyre hits the ground and the front wheel is in the air. Hold the handle to the dead centre position and leave it (might require an extra hand). See if it always moves to the left. Also give slight touches towards left and right from the centre and see if it moves to the left quicker than the right.

Re: Headlight of Fazer.... Nightmare
Reading on odo is 3000km. SVC mechanic also adjusted that nut on handle bar. He told me that handlebar was a bit tighter. It reduces the pull but not completely. while putting bike on center stand and holding handle to dead centre it doesn't move all the time but sometime moves to right slightly, also while holding handlebar to centre it moves to right side quickly than left side.Originally posted by eliksir View PostI had a similar issue with my FZ but on the other side. So, the handle bar is moving to right side quickly while putting bike on center stand, as well as while riding its easy to corner right i.e handle bar easily steers to right with a slight effort but doesn't steers to left that easily, but if i take hands off the bar while riding, bike tends to go/lean on left side (i hope you understand what i am trying to say and will not laugh at me).

Re: Yamaha Fazer
Hi everyone!
I'am new to Xbhp, so I don't know if I should be asking this here. Anyway, here it goes:
I have a 2014 model yamaha fazer and it is about 10 months old. I have completed almost 10,000kms on it. Since last week, I have been hearing a squeaking sound while accelerating. First, I thought it was coming from the brakes, since it has been raining(I'am from Bangalore). Afterwards, I realised that the sound comes only while accelerating. I don't know what's wrong. Can someone help? I can't make out where the sound is coming from.

Re: Yamaha Fazer
Hey Guys.
Such a please to the eyes after seeing a separate thread for Yamaha Fazer 153cc from its naked sibling FZ16 & FZ-S. I am a proud owner of Fazer since June, 2014. I have done Sikkim (Gurudongmar Lake) Trip with this carburetor version at an altitude of 17800ft.
just few km before Gurudongmar Lake.Regards
