          Re: Headlight of Fazer.... Nightmare

You have two options depending the budget you have -
          1) get a pair of projectors with hid or just hid (both) 35 watt 4000-4300kelvin for both the reflectors but use one at a time as RR UNIT cant support charging for long & u will end up drying your battery

          2) try getting a bigger 9amp battery+also get a ape rr unit+ install a 55 watt philips bulb, use the stock 35 on low beam... Make the connections such that ob high beam both glows together (dont over do the usage as again battery will drain out in prolonged usage for 2-3 hours it can sustain if your riding in dim nights at around 5000rpms)

I know it may be a bit confusing understanding the basic so what you can do now is get a philips halogen 55 bulb for lower beam & see how it performs(without any other hastle)....if ur okay well & good other wise follow either one of the method i mentioned

            Re: Yamaha Fazer

I Already have installed ape RR unit and 9Ah Exide battery with both 35 W stock lamps On at low and high beam...

It doesn't drain battery upto long but illumination is not good....
Now i'm planning to have single 55W bixenon projector in left barrel from AES brand (Available with rdmotovil.in) + stock 35 watt halogen in right barrel to deal with oncoming vehicles (flashing pass light)...

The power requirement has been solved after installing ape RR unit and it can even bears twin 35 w hids at same time....
I had a pair of hid few days ago.
But they are of cheap quality and hence got fried after sometime.....
Single good quality projector is though enough for better illumination in front of bike.....

                Re: Yamaha Fazer

                Hi all
I have a small query, my running is very low, i.e. about 3k kms a year. After reading a lot in xbhp, I want to use Full Synthetic oil. As FS oils last for 4-5k kms, it will be about 1.5 yrs for me to change oil.
So my question is what is the maximum time (irrespective of the kms) that I can use for FS oil.
P.S. - my mechanic says time doesnt matter, only kms matter. Furthermore dont suggest me to use mineral or SS as I hav used both and now want to use FS.

No bro ur mechanic is wrong here. I think a bike needs atleast two service proper one even if it is not in use. Every oil having it own drainage period(expert here correct me if i m wrong). I never want to take chances for oil drainage. U can check urself the status. If its too thick change it. Its matter of few hundred rs than thousands rs of bike

Greetings to fellow XBHPians. I have bought yamaha fazer three months ago and experiencing a problem, don't know if it is major or not. While riding on a straight stretch if i leave handlebars (i know it is not safe, but dit it intentionaly to check and confirm problem), bike tends to steer left. Just after leaving handlebar, it initialy steers to right and just in a second leans to left side. I talked to service centre guys and they said all handle alignment is fine. I feel like while turning or cornering, its easy to turn it right with just a flick but a little resistance is there while turning it to left.
It will be great if anyone could help me with this. Thanks in advance..

Turn the handle bar to the left and check the distance from particular point from fuel tank. Do it for other side also. If there is any variation, handle bar might be bent.

Have you hit a pothole at high speed or has anything hit the front wheel?

                              Cheerz!!
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

Actually I am out of station, so will check it on Saturday and update. I did hit potholes as they are everwhere, but not at that speed that could bent rim.
if I put bike on centre stand, lift front wheel off the ground and move handle freely, it moves to right side more freely than left side.
