need advice regarding louder horn as well..Originally posted by gps View PostI patrolled JC road (bangalore) for the horns. Now, the OEM is mounted behind the radiator. At the same spot, there was not enough space, to fit in two horn modules. atleast not with the original mounting bracket. So.. just curious what your mounted horns look like...
waiting for pic..
thanx

Where did you check to get the horn installed ? I am sure if you go to Hyosung service center they will do it without any problem...

Next mod is to have the windshield converted to black .. perhaps will try with the black sunfilm.. asked the 3M guys, he said he can do that.. will give it a shot coming weekend..
Also planning to get the reflective rim strip

I agree to the "No Questions Asked" part.
There is no persuading, no cajoling, no arguing, no threatening, nothing.
You just need to say that you are not happy with something or something is not working and they will either fix it or change it. You will never feel like you are up against some big bad company
Another thing that I notice is that they will talk to you about the bike, trips and also about trips that some other guys have made. A happy and cheerful atmosphere there with Vinod, Pradeep and co. Quite a change from the Hero Honda, Tata-Fiat and Maruti service centers I have been to.

1200kms round trip to blr-Valparai-Athirapilli-Thalikulam-Thrissur-Bangalore
Bike ODO:around 4000kms
The Bike is a lot smoother now , Engines vibes are Lesser.
Clutch and GearBox are Just awesome now.
Fuel Efficiency on the the whole trip 20-26kmpl. Just ordinary Pump gas available at any town.
Speeds of 200kph to 70 kph and a lot of 2nd/3rd gear riding in the hills.
Saddle Bags Mount really Well , Cramster . No movement of any sort .
Super stable , no Back ache on even Bad roads ,
Cruising speed->125-145kph.
Braking is decent enough .
Planning some things to shed some weight off the bike.
Need to fabricate a Radiator Guard.
Santa

Super Customer Care by Garware

I've gone to both the Bangalore as well as Chennai dealers with some pretty weird requirements as well as service requests. I like their friendly attitude.
The best part is that Garware takes their regional svc engineers to Pune and have them trained by Hyosung/S&T folks.
--
They reached out to a few of the owners who've had the RR unit issue (Such as me) and are not only replacing it for existing owners from the batch but for upcoming 2012 bikes as well.
The fact they they're listening to all that the owners have to talk about and actually doing something with the feedback - and that too within a matter of one month, puts my mind at ease.

Great Customer Service and Attitude
I just hopped over to the workshop to check out a resonance buzzing near the instrument cluster and to check the rather hard first to second gear shift.
Guess what they did?
- They put some cushioning between the instrument cluster and the mini covering and the buzzing noise is gone.
- They replaced the rectifier relay as it was in the affected lot (Recall?). Please note that I had no problem with it and it was working just fine.
- They tightened the lock mechanism as it was moving around a bit
- They tightened the chain and cleaned and lubed it
- They adjusted the headlight as I wanted it a bit higher
- They replaced the mirrors as the original one was a bit loose and at high speeds (130-140+) it would dip down.
- They adjusted the clutch
Total charge - Rs.0.00 only.
The gear shift from first to second is still hard, but not worringly so. I think I'm officially a fan of Satya Mitra Motors, and if this is what all Hyosung dealers are like then I think this company would compete well in the market on the basis of its terrific customer centricity.

Actually this is the one major change they had done while bringing to India, the ARAI rejected the original Horn, so they have replace the Horn to get it qualify, this is the news i heard some time backOriginally posted by mittal_v2002 View PostGot a new set of Dual Horns for the Bike (ROOTS brand, price 450/-), disc type, as the OEM went kapoot.
