    ^^^ I was told the GV's are not expected to hit Indian soil till early 2013 and the current sales plan is to focus on GT250R and GT250N release and sales?
    You should likely share this information on the ST7 ownership thread as well where some of the folks are anticipating the release of the GV.

    55Cr. to 75Cr. is a significant amount of investment for any corporate firm.

    Does anyone know;

    News about R&D investments or expansions of S&T/Hyosung?

    Expected sales projections for GT250R/N (Only and not a combined sales projection of 3500 - 5000 units which includes all models) in south-east asian market for FY 2012-13?

    There is comprehensive news on Garware sale of 611 bikes the past year .. although this news is for GT250R ..but also includes some details of there strategy going forward on big bikes

    I don't think there is any thing in the "terms and conditions" which stops us from putting our views out there... As long as they aren't derogatory or offensive...
    No offense Psychohans.. but its not about view and comments that is an issue.. we welcome your views but in an Ownership thread remember that you are putting views which you have read and heard with people who owns, rides and knows about these bikes... so the point is don jump to a conclusion .. simple..

    Dude no true enthusiast, buys a bike without a reason....
    some times we have to compromise on some things.in India,there is still no compititon to the GT,when you consider a supersport 600+ cc bike.(ninja 650 is a sports tourer). So according to my needs,I would still buy a Hyusung instead of a Ninja.
    And I am always ready to compromise quality for that extra fun...
    Right now I ride a RTR180,whose quality definitely lags to hondas and yamahas...but still I got these,only for the fun involved.... And looking forward for GT250R to arrive,which again would have no competition at this side of 2.5 lacs..(again,CBR is a sports tourer)..

    Thing is there are certain new members,who just want to put forward there views in every threads,without much knowledge... so new entrants,please read the terms and conditions carefully before posting anything...

    Well, allow me to retort - When a person spends 5lac+ for a motorcycle, i dont think he deserves top class quality.

    I think he deserves top class happiness. In that aspect, i believe we've invested our money rightly - as the GT never fails to put a big grin on our faces everytime we wring that throttle open. We take care of our bikes and it takes care of us. Simple. Isn't it?

    Hyosung actually never said they are competing with the Japanese to me they are doing good job by rectifying there problems, most probably in 3 years they might be a big Challenger to the japs !

    In my opnion only...

    A very good friend and I both decided to get bikes a long time ago, and finally we could own some practical bikes so he decided to go for the GT650N and I decided to wait for the Ninja 650... If i get the ER6N nothing like it.

    He got his bike a few weeks ago and i have been riding it to bide my time till I get my bike, and I have to say the Hyosung is a very well put together bike great acceleration, handling and looks. It is a thrill to ride as having ridden a few other 600, 650 bikes earlier it is a joy and thrill to ride ..twist the throttle and the Vtwin dosent disappoint. The weight is well distributed giving one confidence to flick the bike a bit (as much as I dare )

    Every vehicle has its ups and downs cost, maintenance, build, looks ..in the end it’s what floats your boat! So get what you can/want, take the rest in your stride and ride hard. That is why we are all here I guess…

    Thanks for enlightening me but do i care , that was not the context of my post, it might be 3.1 or 3.2 and those 20-30k wont make a difference to some one buying a Ninja or a GT. I wasnt comparing a 250 with 650 as this comparison wont make any sense.

    Thats the reason you me or others refrain from posting here because members here have just no supervision on them. Any one can post anything anywhere and get away with me, no infractions, no warnings by moderators and thats the reason we have the brilliant brand wars going because any Cbr owners can go on a Ninja thread and say mine is best or vice versa and he knows no one will stop him.

    Its like seeing any GT on the road and shouting hey my N650r is better than yours, that sense of maturity

    Now i only wish that all XBHP members in all bike ownership threads were as good, educated, informed and enthusiasts like the GT owners. What a great quality of ownership experiences shared by the GT owners in the recent few pages. Respect !

    There are a few XBHP-ians, they just don't know what they are doing. Ignorant and trolling all threads. Then there are those informed and enthusiast who just dont share much (even me i guess). And then there are people like Brat and Coolboy, who contribute and enlighten the ownership thread to a great extent. You guys talk a lot sense and its not just about the bike, but also being a biker.

    @Psychohans : You may have the best 250cc bike (@3.3lakhs ), but you ain't best biker material.

    @Brat: enough supporting psychohans by saying "freedom of speech". Especially when he is talking crap.
