    Softening Honda Shines suspension

I bought Honda shine 6 months back. Total running till date is approx 5k kms.
Whenever I ride alone, feel my bikes suspension is very stiff. I feel the bumps whenever I pass through any potholes or speed breakers. However, whenever I'm riding with pillion, I feel suspension just perfect. Is it because I'm lightweight?? (67kg) Is there any way that I can soften suspension to make it work perfectly even with weight of single rider. Is there any adjustment possible in shock absorbers of bike.

        Honda Shine gear problem

I have 2015 Honda CB Shine. While shifting gears in traffic they are stuck and making loud noise khrrrrrrrr. I faced this problem with 10W30 (Motul 5100)engine oil. once I used 10W40 Motul V300 ester and I did not face this issue gear change failure. So should I do with Motul V300 10W40? Will it harm the engine in anyway?

          Softening bikes suspension

How can soften my bikes suspension, I feel it is very stiff and cannot absorb impact of small bumps and haphazard speed breakers of city roads.

My bike is Honda shine 2016 model.

            Re: Honda Shine

I want to buy a new CB Shine 2018 model, not the SP. Can anyone sum-up the pros and cons of the bike and how much mileage I can get by riding and properly maintaining the bike in Eco conditions? I am a previous CB Twister User and have a current Splendor Pro 2015 with me.

Your Honda might have a slightly different system of venting the petrol tank - in my Suzuki, the petrol tank is vented via the fuel lid - I think this intentional design might not allow petrol to flow down the floor when the pump attendant accidentally overfills till brim. On your Honda, the tank should still have a vent pipe but it may not go through the key lid. If you can blow air through this pipe without difficulty, then most probably it is not blocked.

These are holes I talked about to that Hornet owner - but this setup is for my GS - (1) Goes to bottom of the fuel tank -> connects with a rubber pipe for venting. The pipe simply opens itself to immediate environment. (2) connects with #1 when lid is closed. (3) connected with #2 always.
