re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
I got these for Rs.250/- I saw other knuckle guards for around Rs.2,500/- which I felt not worth to spend that much just for knuckle guards (good quality though).... I felt that these guards looks stylish

Are you asking about the current guards which I have got or the guards which are of 2K?Originally posted by dragon_rider View PostDo these fit without any pain?

If you are asking about these guards, I fitted these without much effort as you have required screws with it only you need a washer for the right side guard.

re: Hero Impulse ownership experience
Hey Guys,
Yesterday I noticed that my Impulse gave me the mileage of 61KMPL...now that's unbelievable but when I did the calculation,
it seems to be valid.
Dealer gave me 1+ ltr petrol in tank at the time of delivery, I rode 134Kms on that, brought it to NIL. Dragged my bike to petrol pump on empty tank, filled up petrol worth Rs. 500 (6.6Ltrs). It went on reserve (2.6Ltrs) with 383Kms on Odometer, so it means I drove 246Kms on 4ltrs. 246 divided by 4 = 61.5KMPL.
(380Kms -134Kms = 246Kms)
I drove at speed between 45-50KMPH and only within city. (SV road, Link Rd, downtown Mumbai).
Share ur inputs n advice about how to maintain the mileage.
Thanks & Regards,
Burnoutee

i dint understand this part of the maths u calculated...... - dealer gave u 1+ liter.... lets assume it was 2 liters. u rode for 134 kms in it. so 134 divided by 2 = 67 kms

(can u explain me this deeply plz)
Keep those wheels rollin...Last edited by dragon_rider; 06-25-2013, 11:30 AM.

Hi dragon_rider,
I just rode within speed limit of 50KMPH, I was so tempted to accelarate further to enjoy its smoothness...
Yes, I was so happy to do the math with such great result.
At the time of delivery, dealer said it has 1+ ltr of petrol, it was on reserve but he did not say its 2 ltrs (u know how they exaggerate if they give u something for free).
So I assume, he did not know how much petrol was there in tank n just said "1 litre se zyada hai". That's Y i did not worry about the mileage I got from the first fill by dealer.
Hope this clears ur doubt
