Me and my friend swapped bikes last weekend, he was riding the GT and I the ST7, Some of the things i noticed during the ride was,

                      1) Although the saddle was a bit harder than i expected, the seating posture was neither too low not high to expose the rider to wind blast. It is positioned just right to accommodate anyone upto 6ft comfortably. Softer padding will allow the rider to enjoy long cruises with much ease. We had clocked an overall 140 kms between city and highway combined.

                      2) Extremely good Low end torque. You dont have to work the throttle to get her moving about. There's a healthy dose of torque that pulls like a mad bull no matter which gear you are in. My friend blasted away ahead in the GT while i had a big grin on my face and enjoyed the cruise at 110k in 6th cog. 110k to 130k in 6th appears to be the sweet spot for the ST7 - its more like floating than riding, but she is far more capable than that.

                      3) Long turning radius, This made it a bit difficult in navigating thru the city and u-turns were no exception. Once you get her past 40k - 50k, weaving in and out of traffic was surprisingly easy. There's good feedback to the rider and she remains planted no matter how rowdy you decide to get with her. Very forgiving bike.

                      4)
Heat emanating from the engine after 30 minutes of city riding in slow speeds was particularly noticeable.
I had assumed that it would be fairly less compared to its faired cousin - due to the exposed engine section, However - both of them are nearly in the same league - as for this aspect.

                      5)
Brakes are superb. The rear brake on the ST7 has far more stopping power than i anticipated - mainly due to the larger wheelbase and focused weight distribution. I am never used to applying rear brakes but i thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The front brakes are progressive and works well during combined application.

                      6)
The exhaust note wasn't something that i enjoyed - but didn't bother much about it since the overall ride experience compensated for it very nicely.

Overall, i had a good experience with the ST7. To put it in simple words, i liked it because it put a smile on my face.

Its 2 am and I'm just back after doing 100 kms.
First a confession. I have never ridden a bike before...Unless you can call riding my cousin's RX 100 for 50 Kms, some 12 years ago. So practically speaking , this is my first bike.
She came into my life at 5 pm last evening... A real stunner...
Was a bit apprehensive whether I would be able to handle her. So decided to wait until midnight to take her out. Couldn't hold myself beyond 10:30 pm.
Put on the gear. Already had a helmet and a leather jacket.

I don't know what this is guys, whether it is the fulfillment of a long awaited dream or whether it is a mid-life crisis at 35!!! whatever it is, I know that I'm never gonna stop riding as long as I am able to.
Anyone thinking about it, wait a couple of days more until I give you the mileage, then you can blindly go n buy it, if you can live with an engine that doesn't wake the entire neighbourhood and has some fibre glass coated with chrome, gives you a very luxurious ride, doesn't scare you in potholes or on bumpers, with brakes that work very well(did I mention that I did touch 100 kmph...I did and felt very good about it!!), Gears that change smoothly( except when you put in 1st gear , it gives you a very reassuring clank), headlight that's not great but gets the job done very comfortably, horn that sounds like a mouse squeaking( am planning to install a double Skoda horn soon), My wego horn is louder than this!!! sounds like a bull elephant whose balls have been cut off!!!
One more thing, serious wind blast once you hit 80 kmph.If cruising above 80 continously, then would definitely need the windshield.

That's it guys, now will go to sleep with some peace of mind and a wide smile on my face.Actually the smile never left my face since 10:30 pm last nite!!!

The back to back reviews by BRAT & CRUIZER goes a long way for ST-7 Review.
Honestly speaking after seeing the beauty in WHITE in Kolkata a month ago simply mesmerized and have blown me away.

And most probably this Bike is quite under rated and I feel the same Bike with a Brand Name change would draw customers in hoard.

Congrats CRUIZER taking a nice decision of marrying once again!!!

Hi guys, a small update, have finished 500 Kms and enjoying loads on my baby..
Scraped the bottom on a speed breaker with a pillion rider...
Since the original padding on the saddle was very less, got additional cushioning done...there's a 15 yr old boy in kandivali named Javed who has got seat making down to an art form!!!! Has done a phenomenal job of it n my ride just got better....
