    @cruizer

    If you scrape the bottom with ST7's 155mm ground clearence what will be condition of HD superlow with 100mm GC? Did you take the ST7 for first service? When you find time please give a detailed report.

    Thanks

      Actually, even the guys at the Harley dealership say that it's too low... You will have to get the height increased to ride in India...

      Any one have any idea when the GV650 Aquila is going to be launched, I'm really waiting for that bike... It looks really amazing and should be cheaper than the ST7 too...

          The regional manager had the following to say - GV650 is expected in mid 2013, followed by GV250 then the GV650 SE.

              Don't worry about the no. of gears. Just do a proper TR. I am sure you will love it. Its nothing like the TBTS believe me. I loved it more than the GT650R even though I am not even a Cruiser fan.

              Also there are in fact only 5 gears. But that doesn't mean you will miss 6th. I mean look at Brat's review, being a GT650R owner himself, he didn't even realize that there was no 6th . So, it doesn't really matter if there are 5 gears or 6 as long as you enjoy the ride. All the best for your decision.

                Hi Barkha,
                The st7 has only 5 gears... I still haven't gone full throttle on it yet as it is still in the breakin period.. As of now I haven't felt the need for a 6 th gear.. Go ahead and get a TR n decide for yourself

                    St-7

                    HI!!
                    Thanx everyone!!!!!
                    @ antz.bin : yes 6th gear is not that important..but still,chalo koi nahi..can manage.yes ST-7 is better that TBTS. but not comparable to my TBCI.

                    @cruizer13 :What is the run-in period? want to do TD but two things are stopping me i got a RE-TBCI and CBR 250R(STD).i cant sell both of then right now and plan for a new bike but yes there plan is jan 2013 to write-off the CBR, retain TBCI and get a ST-7. i am 99% sure i will get the bike by april 2013 i just hope the GV 650 deosnt replaces the ST -7 .

                    @Brat:good

                    @cruizer13 : can u upload some high resolution pictures please

                      Hi again,
                      1st service at 1000 km. run in period 1600 Kms as per the manual.
                      I do not expect the GV650 to replace the ST7 as the 650 has a tourer look n the ST7 has a pure cruiser look.but one never knows.
                      Will post some more pics in a while. In the mean time don't let ur decision to sell the other bikes stop you from taking a TD. Get a feel of the bikes both the GV650 as well as the ST7 . That will help making up your mind when the time comes.if you are willing to wait then do wait till August and get a TD of the Triumph series as well.

                        Dear Friends,
                        I have gone through all the reviews about the ST 7 here . I am also planning to buy one , checked out at the Thane dealer . I would like to know how much the charge for the paid servicing ? . My budget is limited till 6.5 lacs only so im still confused with ST 7 and Superlow . Will be visiting HD in bandra on saturday .
                        Guys kindly help me to clear my doubts .

                          Hello people,

                          Finished 1000 Kms yesterday n took my sweetheart for her 1st service.
                          Full checkup carried out by the staff. Changed the oil & filter. Service was free and oil filter was also free. Used Motul 15W50, 3.2 ltrs, which cost about 2900/-
                          Also got skoda horn fitted n got 2 more coats of Teflon done.
                          Very happy with the service provided.
                          Next paid service is gonna cost approximately 5600/-

                          Happy riding.

                                Nothing lucky about it Brat. I just mentioned the cost of the oil. Service cost me 3300/- after vat etc.. And another 1100/- for the Teflon coating. But that was extra as I wanted it
