You've mentioned compression loss and starting trouble. Sings of any oil deposits on spark plug?
Please post a pic of spark plug any one out of 3 spark plugs.
Step 1 is to that you can first to get a compression test done. Check if the cylinder holds 8-10bar pressure during compression test when you have full throttle opened(IMPORTANT to have full throttle open when you hit the starter button during the test).
If you get results falls 4-7bar, then definitely it might indicate wear in piston rings and they've fully expanded or worn out scored piston/walls.
If compression is fine within 8-10bar, then problem could be something else to look at next.
