I got the whole silencer chromed as i had told you about earlier.I had painted the bend-pipe with heat resistant silver paint, which i had gotten from a auto paint shop. That paint was rated for 200 deg centigrade. Since the earlier spray paint had held up quite well for over 6 months,i had thought this heat resistant paint would hold too.But it didn't and peeled immediately. You can make out the same paint on lower part of the clutch cover and i painted the engine's air cooling fins with the same color too.Just the edges that is.
Engine heat is less in comparison to bend-pipe i guess, because as you can see the paint has stayed there. The chrome plating was done by a shop which specializes in two wheeler chroming and they have done a good job.The chrome plating hasn't discoloured either, like turning blue near the head etc.The chrome plating of the entire silencer cost me 1000 bucks, but it is a very well done job.Coming to the RTR clutch cover, you can see that it's a used one.I had bought a new clutch cover and fitted it as well when the rtr clutch modification work was done. But the problems was that new clutch covers don't seem to come with common clutch cam bearing bushes. As the mech had fitted the clutch cam without these bearings, the oil seal of the clutch cam developed play over time.So when i went looking for the bearing bushes, they weren't available in tvs showrooms and i am still to get em even after months! Luckily i had bought a used clutch cover of the RTR when the clutch modification work was taken up and this used clutch cover has those bearing bushes. So i fitted this clutch cover. Now including this,i have 3 clutch covers with me!
Even the original suzuki fiero clutch cover can be fitted with this rtr clutch mod,but it will need a new milled type clutch release button.
Even after ignition being turned off,it seems to be keeping it up.I will check it out this evening, because it might drain out the battery.

. i will check with DTW tomorrow if they don't have solution for that means then i will go ahead with Race dynamics as you said.
