    Thanks for the updates ..
    The reason i went for this particular tacho was that it matched the stock speedo totally.You are right about the digital number tacho,which i was thinking of getting done earlier which i was discussing about with you,it would have been hard to read and not as aesthetic either.
    I got the whole silencer chromed as i had told you about earlier.I had painted the bend-pipe with heat resistant silver paint,which i had gotten from a auto paint shop.That paint was rated for 200 deg centigrade. Since the earlier spray paint had held up quite well for over 6 months,i had thought this heat resistant paint would hold too.But it didn't and peeled immediately.You can make out the same paint on lower part of the clutch cover and i painted the engine's air cooling fins with the same color too.Just the edges that is. Engine heat is less in comparison to bend-pipe i guess,because as you can see the paint has stayed there.The chrome plating was done by a shop which specializes in two wheeler chroming and they have done a good job.The chrome plating hasn't discoloured either,like turning blue near the head etc.The chrome plating of the entire silencer cost me 1000 bucks,but it is a very well done job.
    Coming to the RTR clutch cover, you can see that it's a used one.I had bought a new clutch cover and fitted it as well when the rtr clutch modification work was done.But the problems was that new clutch covers don't seem to come with common clutch cam bearing bushes.As the mech had fitted the clutch cam without these bearings,the oil seal of the clutch cam developed play over time.So when i went looking for the bearing bushes,they weren't available in tvs showrooms and i am still to get em even after months! Luckily i had bought a used clutch cover of the RTR when the clutch modification work was taken up and this used clutch cover has those bearing bushes.So i fitted this clutch cover.Now including this,i have 3 clutch covers with me! Even the original suzuki fiero clutch cover can be fitted with this rtr clutch mod,but it will need a new milled type clutch release button.

    Yeah dude,this tacho matches to the same colour scheme and font of the original speedo to a 'T'. That's why i went for this tach.Taller gearing is really the key-word here,because the bike does near 60 kmph at 3k revs in top-gear!

    Today noticed after filling fuel at the bunk that the mech has connected the tacho's fuel guage as well and it seems to have a permanent erection problem! Even after ignition being turned off,it seems to be keeping it up.I will check it out this evening,because it might drain out the battery.

    Some pics of tachometer,which also has a pic which shows the bigger bend-pipe mod,with it's chroming and RTR clutch mod.

    Yeah man,it was a good find,that speedometer store.Feels good to see the engine rev Had no idea till now that we used to shift at 5k to 6k rpm each time!Easy Revving nature of the engine's obvious with the tacho now.She is giving us her approval in numbers now,for making her scream like Ava Rose (porn star).

    Dude,i'll be going to TVS AS once again next week as i need a couple of clutch cam bearings of RTR,i'll once again enquire about your part list and particularly the 2nd gear of F2.

    @ALL
    Me and Abhilashabhi had gone on a hunt to find a tachometer for my bike and a speedo for abhi's bike.I found a Pricol tacho with 12k RPM and today got it installed along with amaron maintenance free battery.Some modifications were done by the mech to make a clamp,as well as the wiring,so that the tach can be fitted onto the handle.He has done a decent enough a job.Abhi is planning to get a full classic pulsar speedo+tacho unit for his ride.

    I am also inclining towards your suggestion to check at Race dynamics as they are best in business when it comes Fi/ECU related works, but resist back that idea to check the workmanship of DTW.

    Happy Deepavali in advance
    Good to hear that bro.It's small enough a job and it really shouldn't be a big deal to those who know about fi bikes.Once the connectro/hardware is sorted out,it should be easy enough.If DTW can handle it,then fine,otherwise Race dynamics will be able to solve it for sure.Happy deepavali to you too!
