    Oh, interesting about the differences in pumps in rtrs and fieros. However, the real pain is finding 20w50 MINERAL oil in Bombay. Don't know why, but not all the stockists retail it. All the shops I asked, don't have 20w50 oils - they have it in synth and semi-synth but none in mineral It's a strange problem. And online all the big Cos like Shell, Gulf, Motul, etc are putting up on their website that they make the grade

    Well I changed over to motul 3100 gold 20w50. Good thing is motul has 1150ml pack specific for 200/220 😃

    Nothing to worry man, I found W50 much better here in Bangalore for me, Only thing is you will have to take it slow initial 1Kms until the engine reaches its optimum temperature.

    I suggest you go for Shell advance 20W50, You can find them in all their petrol station outlets.

    Has anyone tried the oils from Indianoil (Servo), Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum? I heard that lot of the other brands just buy the oil from these 3 and package them. You pay extra for the fancy name and packing.

    That's great to hear. Yeah, those oils will be better. I feel 20W50 is required there too. Have you or Gixxer tried Mak 4T 20W50 by any chance?

    Why don't you retain fiero's 4 speed lower half and try sprocketing mods to achieve best of both worlds?
    Want to keep the bike legal. It's just I have access to lot of Apache parts so wanted to get the 5 speed thing done. Let's see what can be done. If not possible I'll go with the 4 speed and sprocketing.

    even thought i've decided on the Shell Advance AX5 20W40 for the fiero....i'm thinking of buying this oil as an extra backup....currently its available in suzuki showrooms for Rs. 270/-. other forum member told me that its 20W40 mineral and manufactured by Idemitsu...

    Go for 20w50 Shell advance. Gixxer had used it sometime back & was all praises for the same.

    Infact I am also contemplating on using the same in my P220.
