Re: RE Continental GT (Cafe Racer)
Stock exide conked off. 3.5 years since purchase (4 years since manufacture).
Found more rust, obvious to find in battery case.
Got AMCO from Amaron dealer
AMCO Maxx Last AB14L-A. MRP ₹ 3,100.00. After exchanging old one, ₹ 2,700.00.
Getting battery out of the tray is pretty tricky.#RetiredRider

Re: RE Continental GT (Cafe Racer)
DIY tail lamp. Plug and play. 60 superflux red + 3 SMD white.
Terror from rear.
Park mode.
Tilted and added a flap to reduce tear.
Perfect.
Fork oil leak. Parked for a while due to unavailability of oil seal.
Got from Concept. Though I don't like those morons, they stock most of the RE parts that even the RE spare dealer won't stock.
Fork Oil Seal - 594406 - ₹ 315.00/side
Per them, same as TB.
Motul Expert Fork Oil 20 W.
350+350+175 ml. MRP ₹ 135 and ₹ 70 respectively for 350 ml and 175 ml, got for ₹ 100 and ₹ 50, from Ex Jawan Lubricants. Buy three 350 ml bottles since we need approximately 450-460 ml each fork.
Gave it to our regular mech, thinking he has the tools and does on his own.
He rings up and tells forks are ready to be taken to the fork guy
Took it to this guy. Said come back next day. Trump card, Leh ride tomorrow. Came down to 2 hours. Came back and then only he began working
Got it done in 20-30 mins.
All these guys treats RE owners are cash cows. Mechanic charged ₹ 600 for removing and refitting fork. Fork guy charged ₹ 400. Plus my fuel costs. (Yamaha charges me ₹ 200 + GST for the whole process, exact same process).#RetiredRider

Re: RE Continental GT (Cafe Racer)
Lumax Clear Lens Headlight Assembly - ₹ 395.00
Multifocal reflector for Amby. Quality was shoddy. There were better ones from Gyspy, Thar, Leyland, Mahindra trucks, etc., but all with leveler motors and frames, have to waste them to remove the reflector and the whole assembly costs approx 2.5k.
Swapping was a 15 min job. This comes with T10 park light holder instead of the old school ones. Installed Phillip White Vision T10 bulb.
New tyre. Pirelli Sports Demon 100/90-18. Got for ₹ 2,000.00 from Amazon. November 2015 make. No stock anywhere. As last resort was planning to go for MRF Massetter rear tyre.
The infamous crack. Wear was more in that point.

Hella reflectors are available for Rs.400~450/- do not recall the exact price.Originally posted by deville_56 View PostLumax Clear Lens Headlight Assembly - ₹ 395.00

H4 and T10 standard.
Do watch out for reflector burns on the Lumax, I run a HS1 35/35 on my Lumax(OEM for HH Dawn/Ambition) unit and run with the HL on all the time, noticed burns within a short while.
Overall quality is crap as its been around 6 months since install and the outer ring has prominent rusting, surprisingly the stock unit on the CT100B was also from Lumax but it held quite well for close to a year before replacing to the new unit.Motorcycling Experience:
2000 ~ 2017 Y2K Kinetic Zoom (Disposed at 15k)
2011 ~ 2015 Hero Honda Karizma R (Sold at 56.5k)
2013 ~ 2014 Bajaj Discover 100 4G (Sold at 16.5k)
2015 ~ 2017 TVS Wego (Totaled at 18k)
2015 - Bajaj Pulsar 220F (Currently 31k) < Garage Queen!
2017 - Bajaj CT100B (Currently 21k) < 'Golden Quadrilateral' Runner!
The Ride was Good, but Life is short, spend it Wisely!
Adios Comrades!

This one is better than OEM plastic ones for bikes. All morons runs on 130/100 on this one on Amby's and Jeeps. Retainer GT's OE outer rings (which already is rusted).#RetiredRider

Re: RE Continental GT (Cafe Racer)
Done deal! If they're fine with running 130/100 then I'll keep an eye out for them as I doubt even upping to a HS1 45/40 won't cause any harm, I've bought a couple from Amazon but was hesitant to use with the current reflector.Originally posted by deville_56 View PostThis one is better than OEM plastic ones for bikes. I opted for 45/40 in my case as the CT100B cant handle the standard 60/55, tried for a few mins and gave up as there wan't enough power for the rest of the electrical's to work.Motorcycling Experience:
