Posting this on behalf of a close friend. He got delivery of his bike on last Thursday.
There is quite a muscle under the hood. You just have to twist the throttle and you are off like a jet
.Handling:
The seating posture is upright sporty, and feels much comfortable even for long rides. Good they are providing stock pirelli. However if you have short height you'll find it little difficult to control and flick the bike in city traffick.
Performance:
The 535cc heart pumps like hell. Acceleration is just awesome. However the bike lags at top end, with company claimed top speed just around 140 kmph (Expectations are much with 500cc motor). But that still needs to tested in person.
Looks:
You can call this as a vintage sports bike, which posses it's different charm. Grandfathers of bike racing used to have bike which almost looked like this. Instrument cluster is analogue, with digital odo and fuel bar. +1 for speedo to display both kph and mph. Just as a specific detail, I personally like those rear view mirrors at the end of both handlebars
. It looks like a red beast ready to tame the roads.Ride Comfort:
The bike is more suitable for long touring. Seats have enough cushion and prevent your butts from boils on a long ride. Suspensions are a bit harder but are capable to easily absorb those regular bumps and small potholes on highways.
It is perfect merge of oldies and modern tech.
Bike is still under engine breakin. Waiting for the sleeping monster to wake up.
PS: If you have a girlfriend I say it's a bad idea to get this bike, otherwise be ready to face her as she will be really getting pissed off (no pillion seat, happened with my friend, lol
... )
