^^ Nice to see the bikes you guys have done up nicely. Some money spent on good riding gear would be wonderful as well!
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Nice Video... I really loved the bike mods .
monk Cafes are about being minimalistic & style - so Denim/ Leather gear is what suits best & feels more authentic. But then back in the day that's what was available.

But yes in modern times since better protection is available one should switch to proper gear.

You want go authentic with leather. By all means wear leather. Boots, gloves, jacket, pants and now even helmets with leather finish. Go the whole hog.

Wearing modern riding gear would be cheaper, but if you want safety and looks that would surely cost a bomb.

Kissing the tarmac and then sitting at home with plaster and peeled off skin is stylish!!!

Haha. No. Was trying to say that you can be stylish (cafe racerish) and safe at the same time, but that kind of riding gear would be expensive. Your regular everyday riding gear would work out much cheaper. The minimum being a quality helmet, since the helmets in some of the pictures are rather inappropriate for high speed riding. Something that this bike is very much capable of.

I just saw the video, the presenter had a hand in a sling. Could be coincidence, but then the irony of life eh

Nice mods on the bike I recommend one small change from my side and its just an advice. There's a gap between the back side of engine and the frame for me that's only thing that doesn't look good (maybe its just me). See if you guys can cover that with something stylish that would be cool.

point taken bro. i myself have been thinking of getting proper riding gear for a while now but i keep spending money on making my bike faster performance mods and stuff. but next thing i am getting is riding gear.

we simply just dont ride in the rain. and in case if it rains our t shirts and helmets just go stupid dirty. but bro we are just trying to take every possible gram out of the bike. every gram adds up trust me. just took the center stand, bar end mirrors and bar end weights off my bike today and straight away there is a difference. u can feel the lightness. i lost 4 kgs today. i know its not practical and is inconvenient but i dont see this bike as a practical bike anyway. at least that's my vision and the power commander 5 i got it from hitchcocks UK and those guys have different maps to suite your bike. i got the map for free flow exhaust and k and n filter. there is a noticeable difference straight away with the power commander. specially in the high rpms.

i agree with you completely bro its not practical and its not convenient. but the road to get more performance is not easy. compromises have to be made. well we have grown to like this single minded hardcore approach i know its not for everyone. but we adjust accordingly. ride more carefully, turn your hear before turning to see whats behind you. and the horns are no issues the open exhausts on our bikes are enough horns. just give it a small rev and they know u r there. its not a loud sound love thing its just for safety. loud exhausts saves life's. but yes performance is everything to us. but we dont ride irresponsibly.

Just one thing which really bothers me! Are out conditions really suitable for a K&N filter or to be more precise less resistance filters? With so much dust & particles in the our air isn't the engine getting dirtier air with such lower resistance filters? - just a thought to ponder on.
