Mounting is different from replicas. It fits on the plastic dummy clip.
    Like this.
It's antiglare with a blue tinge (seen in similar replica as well). Very much high-beam-tail-gater friendly.

RE could have given this as stock as stock ones as useless with the 3D effect they give with vibes.
That mounting system is interesting. The mirrors dont come with any kind of expanding screw I assume?

I tried ordering the replicas from amazon, but either the paint is peeling off (on delivery) or the mirror is not properly seated inside the housing. Also the mounting system employs the rubber expansion wherein you rotate the bolt and the nut tightens against the rubber thereby expanding the rubber inside the bar. Not very effective as it easily slides out.
Ordering via AliExpress or Ebay just seems too risky.

Yeah, no expanding screws. As much as possible don't remove the bar end weights, spare not available and RE selling them as handle assembly only.

            Idle rpm is between 800-900rpm.

BTW I tried a few saddle bags & finalized on the Rynox Nomads... it's good even with pillion and doesn't hit the legs. I've become sort of a RYNOX man... all my gear is rynox!

Guys, how many of you have faced problems with the stock Pirelli Sport Demons? Including my experience, I know of 3 owners who have faced the problem of a cut / crack on the tires. Mine gave up pretty early in its life (considering usage) and I was fortunate enough to get a replacement front tire from RE.

Ours got one, but luckily no bulge.

Got my rear tire replaced neil under warranty. They started to crack. Luckily it was just over a year ans I managed to get it replaced with a few mails and followups. But surprising that they don't stock it and I had to wait around 40 days. Wonder what owners would do in case of an emergency where the tire can't be used anymore? Wait for 40 days ???? And the stock position was the same with almost all service centres.

Well Folks... 2nd week of Nov I did my longest ride (a tour) on the GT. Bom-Jaipur-Bom. I had leaves & without any plans I simply pushed off to meet my Parents in Jaipur almost 2500kms of riding . Also finished 20k kms on the GT. will definitely come-up with a tour blog & a 20k kms review. till then enjoy just a few pics.

Few limited points I'd like to make:
                            - upto a 100 GT definitely holds on it own without a hitch. 90kph it can do for days on end without breaking any sweat.
                            - at 110ish the bike is fine rumbling along at 3.5-4krpm 5th gear but definitely feels it's reaching its limits. But the lack of windscreen makes you hold on for dear life OR get into a nice Chest on Tank Cafe-pose .
                            - at 120odd the bike is definitely struggling, it can still hold it but it's crying to get back to 100.
                            - anything beyond 100 is actually going into unsafe territory, many a times I encountered potholes out of no-where. Enter Rajasthan & a cow could simply appear from thin air! and almost banged into one a very close call. And offcourse one truck almost pinned me off road since he decided to change lanes suddenly!!!
                            - Only reason I'd see for an upgrade would be to hold better stability, better Braking & better handling at 100kmph & not necessarily for higher top-speed coz it's just not safe enough on majority of the roads, potholes for sure but many times undulations in the road makes it much more dangerous at higher speeds.
                            - The ass definitely takes a beating on such long rides. But thanks to the long seat, it offers a very good range of movement. sitting all the way back on the raised part of the seat at higher speeds is amazingly comfortable but requires a good core strength & flexibility to be in it longer. Thanks to my Road cycling I could really exploit the long-flat seat and the different positions it offers.
                            - One thing I didn't get was back pain or tail-bone pain which you would on a straight seating position. I honestly cannot imagine touring on a straight seating esp on the GT's hard suspension.

Also it's now 20k kms on the GT, I've not had a single major issue yet. Some places minor oil spreads at the head not oil leaks. The most mentioning point No rattles no parts falls off & bike is Bone-Stock which I rarely find in Enfields.

Although I owned the GT for almost 2yrs now (1yr 10months 15days to be exact ) I really had my doubts for the tour but not only did the bike held well I too was extremely satisfied and for a great extent quite comfortable on the tour.

First thing pop up in your mind after riding would be why the hell did not RE make it a roadster instead of cafe racer. Me, my brother and BIL said the same
Riding position is kind of Duke like, but still aggressive. Very much flickable and relaxed. No more wrist pain (at least for me). Did a 200 km TD and was less tiring with 30-40% traffic. Thanks to KTM for providing parts, 100% easier than getting RE parts. Used old ball bearings as spacers. KTM handguard spacer (JG231221) was good option, ₹ 30.00/piece. Buy one and drill a 10-mm hole and works perfect.

                              Total cost:

                              KTM Handle Top Holder - JG151020 (KTM) - ₹ 84.00
                              KTM Handle Bottom Holder - JG151014 (KTM) - ₹ 130.00
                              KTM Handle Holder Bolt - JG151029 (KTM) x4 - ₹ 32.00
                              KTM Socket Bolt M10x1.5Px60L - LAC00004 (KTM) x2 - ₹ 32.00
                              KTM Nyloc M10 Nut - LCH00001 (KTM) x2 - ₹ 8.00
                              KTM Duke 390 Handle Bar - JG151031 (KTM) - ₹ 1,004.00

Spacer Washer x2 - ₹ 3.00 (Spacer height was not enough)

                              LHS Handle Grip - 521186/A - ₹ 42.00
                              Clutch Lever Holder UCE350 - 592150/A - ₹ 336.00
(Stock bar end did not permit removing these parts, had to buy new ones. Searched every nuke and corner for a clutch yoke, RE selling only full clutch lever assembly. Had to but whole unit. This one is from UCE350 with black lever. Silver lever ones costs ₹ 500.00)

                              Switchgear Screw - ₹ 3.00
(Royal screw up by Concept Motors, head was full round)

Bar-End Weights and Bolts - ₹ 150.00 (Different from pic, not installed yet)

                                Nice mods!

With the mirrors out, you can perhaps make use of it in some other way, such as a mobile/action cam/gps holder that will fit directly in the places left for RVMs.
