It is.. but nothing to worry.. it's just a matter of time for your body to adjust.. even I had a tough time initially, now it's fine..

I have booked my RC 200. It will be first bike ever. I am going to ask a pretty silly question. Where do you keep the documents of bike? I have seen a small, lockable utility box in hero glamour. Is there something like that in RC? If not then can I fit something like that without spoiling the look?

You can keep the photostats of the documents under the seat. There is almost zero space in there but however you can fold the documents and keep it there. I have kept the papers in the first aid kit.

What are you planning on patching your wounds with your bike's papers in case of an emergency? LOL:P
I think you guys underestimate the convenience of a wallet, and also otherwise can't you store the docs under the tool kit and tie it off? Its certainly more secure that way considering it'll be easier to reach when needed and safe coz one almost never has to use the tool kit on this bike.

I have folded the papers and put inside the tool kit which is under the seat. It is quite secure there. Also, I had first hand experience of benefits of keeping paper with bike. My brother took the bike for spin without informing me and was stopped by traffic police. I was lucky the papers were in bike.

I am not saying its wrong to keep the papers in the bike man, I was just saying that the first aid kit isn't exactly the best place to store papers when one can just as easily put them in his wallet or tuck them under the tool bag.
I also keep a spare set of documents in the bike under the tool bag.

is this rates are defined by KTM or ktm has allowed them to decide...what do you think??

                        Just a quick update.
Did an ~800 kms run (Bangalore - Mangalore - Madikere - Bangalore) on my RC 200 and I must say I have NOTHING to complaint about the bike except for the tiny tank.

The bike is very stable and planted and gives a lot of confidence to the rider. The only place where it MISERABLY fails is on gravel/kuccha roads.

It skids really really bad even at slower speeds.

Hi Ajay, thank you for creating this wonderful thread and your experiences with the bike and SVC glued me to this thread. I am going to take delivery of my RC 200 this weekend and I have downloaded your PDI Check List. Owners of KTM RC 200, do have any thing else to look out on the day of doing PDI apart from the things listed on the check list?

Last time I checked, they do not charge for labour for a free service. Only the chain lube cost should be charged. However, they charge the tax that comes up on the labour charge(which i think is rediculous!). Maybe thats where the 100 bucks came from. Check the bill.
