Hey Vishnu, how did you get rid of the body stickers without affecting the paint on the bike? I was planning to do the same but was afraid that the paint might come out as well.

Looks compact and sporty. The RC sticker on the belly pan looks much better without the rest of the stickers!

Are you planning to get some stickering done or leave it as it is?
Edit: Your bike looks like one of the concept bikes :P

easy peasy, just peeled it off steady and slow, then wiped the surface clean with a motomax surface protector.

already in the confusion as to how to proceed, actually had something similar to this on mind , but dunno if it would happen anytime soon.

I contacted Puig for the visor, they redirected me to one of their official importers,
          Retrorides Moto, delhi
          +91 99-71-395678
had to wait close to a month because Puig hadn't started to supply the visors yet then, but i got the one as soon as they started shipping it to the dealers.
I believe they have orange and dark smoke in stock now, so you should get it within just a day or two.

No swell, just use a heat gun, hair dryer or leave in the sun for few hours if you get temperatures up to 35-40degrees in your city these days and start peeling off from one corner. I've done it many times on my rides and whatever residue of gum is remaining on the fairing, you can use Turpentine oil from any paint shop or thinner to clean that off.
What you are left with is a clean piece of fairing ready to be your canvas.
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

I actually tried getting something on the same lines as RC8, but the problem that I faced was that the fairing on the RC8 & the RC 200 are different.. fairing design I mean, the RC200 is more triangle type, the RC8 is more rectangle type but vertical.. (I'm leaving the belly pan aside for now)

One thing you can do is use carbon fiber for the fairings completely, it's not cheap.. and the one doing it must be good at it, else, the stickering will go waste..

I actually did make some designs, but I somehow didn't like 'em, hence, I went up with the nazi eagle.. still a head turner for most people of Hyderabad.. received bashing from the international community saying as if their country is the only innocent & the Germans are the only evil..

back to the point of stickering, avoid the radium ones, they suck.. I've personally used them on my honda unicorn & found them to be less professional and more "grab my attention" type.. use the normal ones, they also stick better.. not that the radium ones are bad, but I just didn't like 'em..

              here's mine...

so, here's something that I've personally understood:

              - Don't try to fit the design within the quadrilateral (the almost triangle shaped) area of the fairing,

              - some part of the stickers will miss.. but it will look really classy..

              - Get something done matching with the fairing on the front mud guards as well... I missed here & I feel miserable, that stickers guy didn't have time too that day..

              - Step 1 is to make a theme & work on it..

              - Learn Photoshop (if you already know it, you will rock man...)

I've initially wanted it to go with military style, but the problem was that getting the camo sheet for stickering is difficult & expensive.. hence went for the single color option..

              - No, Don't try to pick Orange - it will suck.. believe me, but again, ur wish if you can actually make something with orange & make it look better, you better get that done..

              - Last but not the least, do NOT ask for a hundred people's opinions, maybe a few like your best friend, parents, girlfriend/wife, your local biking friends..

That's all the tips I could give you and all the best for the stickers.. it ain't an easy job & selecting one will be difficult, so always have multiple stickers/designs in mind and select one, because something your parents like, may not be liked by your girlfriend/wife..

Man, why didn't I take a look at this before??

Thanks for the pointers ajay, i had the initial idea to wrap the whole side panel in CF, that would have matched my lid [emoji23] but i already have this bad name among my friends that im having this carbon fiber fetish [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. so ditched that idea.

Then one of my friends came up with this

I might end up doing something similar. but not exactly the same. Anyhow leaving the bike in only two colour combinations orange+black. The orange alloys and frame make it really hard to match up other colours on the bike without looking like a punk kids showoff machine :/

By the way, thats a cool design they have on that seller page, will take a look at that and see wether that can be matched onto here [emoji28].

p.s. have asked a friend who is now in London for his on site job, to find me the original decals of the rc8 , if he finds that i might do a bit of tweaking to get that fitted :P its easy to make that 8 look like a 2 [emoji28]

well, I used white, & I'm guessing it's going pretty well.. no issues here.. the default stickers use white/black theme paired with orange frame & alloys.. so, it shouldn't be a problem..

maybe some water seeped inside & caused a short circuit, warranty should fix it.. [MENTION=16602]s1d[/MENTION] will be able to give you additional info..

Sorry mate, you'd have to replace it! But before asking the dealer to replace it, search the local spare parts market, you might get a cheaper one there.
