well, I used white, & I'm guessing it's going pretty well.. no issues here.. the default stickers use white/black theme paired with orange frame & alloys.. so, it shouldn't be a problem..



maybe some water seeped inside & caused a short circuit, warranty should fix it.. @s1d will be able to give you additional info..



That's a nice blue theme.. I love a camo theme myself, but it's banned..

Guys some of the self tightening rivets which are used to connect the fairing and radiator are broken, can i find those in the market or should i go to the dealer?

Yep.. The camp design is copyrighted by the Indian army and it cannot be used and you can be legally prosecuted..

anyhow im leaving this at that till i get the rear under-tail section , that i had ordered at the SVC, 600 bucks for the 390s (which cones in black) so the bike would be completely blacked with orange as the secondary.

I have asked a friend of mine who is now in UK for an onsite job to check out the local ktm showrooms for the stock RC8R decals. which contains the R and the KTM, which should give it a factory finish and also saving up for a racedynamics piggyback [emoji51].

so for the time being the bike is being left as it is.

Wow...

Nice stickering there... if possible, try getting the RC390 grab rail.. the black one.. will more in-sync, the white in the whole black/orange looks kinda out of place..


Now for piggyback, I'm not sure whether it's worth it.. I've heard that you might need an aftermarket exhaust, some said yes and some said no.. Also, the BHP gain may not be that much.. I'm also thinking of the piggyback ecu.. But I'm not really optimistic of the returns on the investment...

Completed 3rd service - Engine oil change & oil filter change yesterday along with the broken coolant tank overflow pipe replaced under warranty.

now, about the breaking coolant tank overflow pipe, the outlet is thin & weak, and in the newer 2015 models, the specific part is stronger.. so you guys shouldn't face any issues going ahead..

Just came home from a 123 KMs ride, she's sexy & smooth as silk now... happily revving...

Recently have been observing a ticking noise from the engine. It isn't prominent as I start the bike but when the engine heats up the sound is heard more clearly. It's sort of like a metal ticking noise which increases with the rpm. The bike has done 4500kms as of now. I'm not sure what is the issue. Could anybody help me out.

Have you tightened the chain recently..?? If its too tight, it will make the sound... That's per my experience..

I had my chain checked and it was found to be alright. Is it the tappet noise? But on a bike this early I shouldn't be hearing that right? The bike has not been ridden harshly and I've never stressed the engine.

Then it's fine.. Even I had that sound at around 2-3K kms... Lasted for a little while and went away on its own.. You can hear it at low RPM/Speeds like clicking.. And once it's raised, you won't hear it..

Bro, tappet can become loose, even if you don't ride it hard. I own a Pulsar 200 Ns, it started giving noise just after crossing 4k mark. For the past two months, I continue to ride with this Noise, which irritates even more, if I don't wear a helmet. Mine is due for service in the month end.

Just ask the SVC for the reason. They will tell you the same. Get it repaired as soon as possible

Finally what's the conclusion on bar end weights. These days I go for 100km rides on weekends, numb numb numb palms. Desperately need bar end weights. Has anyone tried apache one, does it solve any purpose.

Yes exactly. Its a clicking noise. However it doesn't subside when I raise the rpm. It in fact increases along with the rpm which has had me worried. Anyway I'll be giving it for the third service in the following week. Will ask them to look into it.

Yeah will ask the ASC to look into it during my third service. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be something else.
