I am currently on the 10w50, 15w50, 10w40 and 20w50, too many bottles for too many bikes and grades to remember, and it's easy to get a little paranoid. But anyways, I am attaching a picture for your reference as you asked, barring the number of cans I disposed of. I bought 7100 from a dealer in Mumbai, and I paid Rs. 680 per/7100. In total I purchased six cans, almost a year or so back.
[MENTION=75545]yasirfz16[/MENTION], if you can't get the 15w50 in 7100, get yourself the 10w50 which is as good or even comparatively better than 15w50.

atlantic lubricants and specialities ltd is the importer of motul in India and based in Mumbai, as of until a few months ago they did not import/supply the 7100 in 15w50.

As I said earlier, indeed I was using 15w50 for as long as I can remember, in the following 3000, 5100, 300V and 10w40 and 10w50 in the 7100. You're right Atlantic Lubricants is the official distributor, and it's printed in the bottle itself. I don't have the bottle, as I didn't purchase the 15w50 grade in 7100, which as I mentioned, I was confused with the gradation, and might have entered it incorrectly. But that shouldn't pose a significant problem, when you have a better grade than 15w50, i.e. 10w50.

I'm not sure, but I think that is for the indicators. However don't quote me on this I haven't been able to locate it in any wiring diagram as of yet.

Hey Guys,

My RS has an oil leak which I noticed when I drove it 95+ kmph from the spout I've mentioned in the attached picture. It just splattered everywhere from there to the rear.😣
What could be the reason behind it?

Can you give more details on the oil you use and the total odometer reading so that people experienced on Bajaj/KTM bikes can help you better. Do you have any pickup or mileage issues? Is the spark plug okay? Is the exhaust tip oily?

AFAIK, in most bikes there's a tube with a plug attached to this snout. It collects water/oil/etc thrown from the crankcase.

That tube is missing. Fix it.

Also, am not sure whether this much amount of oil reaching the air filter box is normal.

I had used Motul 7100 20W-50 engine oil, And my odo clocks 31,900 kms with proper timed services.
It's been around 3000 kms since the oil change.
Oil levels were proper when filled. It has decreased down due to the splatter. I'll refill it as required.

As said, I've experienced a very slight hiccup in pickup than from earlier days .
The sparkplugs are stock from the vehicle, just cleaned and adjusted during service.

The exhaust tips are as they usually are. Not oily !

I think the missing tube is the culprit. For the time being, replace the tube along with it's plug and observe oil levels for next couple of thousand kms. If not clamped properly, it will again drop off. Replace stock plugs (3x) in next service as Bajaj recommends a 20,000 km spark plug change. Valves should be adjusted if necessary - again the interval is ~20,000 km.

Hello guys,

This is my first post in this thread.
Recently bought a used RS200 from a known source.. After riding it for the full day, brought it home. Since, the vehicle was very dusty;thought of giving it a wash & hence pressure washed it thoroughly.

Later, i have encountered a strange problem wherein the self-starter motor is not shutting off once the vehicle is started. It is so strange that engine kill or shutting off the ignition totally is also unable to stop the motor. Finally had to remove the connecting cable of selfstarter to shut it. As a precaution, i have disconnected the battery.

What could be the possible problem. Have thought it could a issue of electrical grounding, Need to check by removing the sidepanels.

Any suggestions in solving this issue will be of much help.

Since NGK irridium spark plug isn't available on Amazon for a kong time, there is another one available from Nikavi.
Has anybody used it? Should I go for it?

Also, my RS200 is currently 16k on odo.
Last service was done before Covid19 pandemic & air filter, engine oil, fuel filter etc were changed.
I'm thinking about to drop the bike for servicing.
What will be the things to check? Any suggestions?

Better not to go with any other brands if NGK is not available, stick with Champion/Bosch spark plugs which is available in service centers, it is pretty good in itself nothing wrong with them.

Since bike is near to 20K kms, general things you can check for which might need changing or adjusting like Chain Sprockets, Valve clearances, Steering Head bearings, Toping up all brake fluids, coolants and check brake pads.
