Its been twenty months with my rs200. I clocked 26 kms and I'm very happy for the performance it offers. Did a 2500 kms trip recently without any issues. It's a perfect tourer in this segment(Of course now its dominar). Clocked 20k kms in one year and then got busy with work stuffs. But recently I'm very bothered with the vibrations. I'm very pissed off. Vibrations in foot peg are horrible that I cant tour for long distance..!! Anyone can shed a light for the vibration.. Like having the rubber pads in the fairing. Anyways within five to six months i'm planing to get g310gs Meanwhile I cannot postpone my road trip because of this vibration issue. Also I maintain my bike in time. Serviced every 3k kms and using motul 5100..!!!

Heres the link for the original product. The replica has the same specs. I guess the difference is the replica is made in china and the quality used on making it is cheaper. But I've seen reviews online and it seems okay to me. KOSO-RX2N-R

If the vibrations in the foot pegs are accompanied by a "kich-kich" sound, your chain is too tight. Try loosening/cleaning/lubing it. Other common sources of vibrations are the fairing, handle bar ends and the RVM. Vibrations in the fairing can be reduced by using a 2-way tape in between the fairing joints/gaps.

Not sure about vibes in handle bar. You can try checking the front rim/air pressure. Maybe changing the grip could help, but not sure.

Finally, the vibes in the RVM can be tackled by putting a small rubber brush before the nut that fastens the RVMs.

Hope this helps.... Please let us know if something hits the bull's eye, it might be helpful to others as well.

Thanks Alphar1us! I was curious about the reception of this bike in Philippines. Could you please share some common views on this bike in particular and Bajaj in general?

This was happening with me as well. No service centre could figure out the reason. Finally went to a local mechanic. With my bike the problem was with the clutch switch. He replaced that with an original one and the problem has never resurfaced.

Its called the Koso RX2N/ SS182. Its just a Chinese replica. Planning on getting one but its seems to have compatibility issues.

I like minimalism. Im actually gonna gradually replace most of the parts of my bike. I like the design of the speedo and it can change its backlight color to green. I hate the color blue.

As in Ktm RC390 Headlight on with ignition key. Is any way for RS200 . Without Engine ON. Because now all bikes with DC Electrical have headlight on with key except Pulsar Series i.e Yamaha R15 V2, Suzuki Gixxer, Bullet 350

hey everybody, an update from my side...

This was on Friday evening when I was riding back home from office. I was running a fever and had decided to leave early to take some rest. Bust as they say, bad things come in a package... Near the L&T junction, Powai, my bike just stopped. Just like that, while working absolutely fine a second ago. No weird noise, no malfunction lights, no engine jerking, no weird smells... Well, you get the idea.

I killed the engine and then tried to start the bike. The start motor was running but the bike didn't start. I was getting a bit panicked since I was in no shape to push the bike around at all. The battery was not an issue since the starter motor was whirling. The main fuses were fine since the display was on. The bike was not overheated. The spark plugs were also fine, having replaced them a while ago. There was petrol, there was engine oil. The engine was not seized since there was no change in the sound of the bike before this. I tried to push start the bike but that didn't work either.

I had a phone holder/charger installed last week and my suspicion was on some wiring issue. Instead of taking it to a local mechanic, I decided to call a tow truck and drop it to the authorized SS. Called Sai Service center to ask if they know of any towing company's number. They were clueless. I googled and called one company with good ratings. The tow truck was standing at Hiranandani and agreed to pick the bike up at a charge of Rs 1000.

The truck arrived in 30 min and I was pleasantly surprised to see it. It had a motor run, conveyor belt type professional looking mechanism at the back. He lowered the flat belt and fixed the front tire to the metal clamp. Then he operated the mechanism to pull the bike up. Very professional and full value for money!

We dropped the bike at the SS just moments before it was about to close. Special thanks to Mr Sreekanth, the service adviser, to wait for me at the closing hours. The bike would be checked today and I will share the updates on that.

                        Quite an experience!

The end chamber (external visible silencer end) of RS200 can be fitted in NS200?

The issue was fuel pump failure due to kachra in the tank. Kachra was either due to rusting or maybe spurious fuel. Replaced the fuel pump and now bike is running perfect.

To avoid such a scenario in future, it is advisable to get the whole tank cleaned after every 10k km/2 services...
