    I quickly answer your questions

1.yes fit n finish is good.completed 1035kms I don't fin. any fairing rattles.vibration is there between 4.5k to 5K in 6th gear or 61 to 70kmph(its very little you don't even need to consider it).
2.eas y to clean .for textures just use a smooth brush if just not sa tisfied with cloth.its not a deal breaker.Dust will accumulate on every bike you buy india whether it is splendor or hayubasa.

Keep the fuel above 2points always else you feel little struggle in acceleration.
First 100kms engine feels over heat, first 500kms engine feels little harsh.but after first service the beast will surprise you.
Gear shifts are smooth. As I'm from Hyderabad you can get it same day or within 2days.just go with it man.save some money for good helmet, gloves and jacket too.

Go ahead friend!she is waiting for you in showroom.

I am planning to buy the 2017 RS 200. I just have some queries about it.hope you will be able to help me out.

      1. Is the finishing in fairings way more better than the older versions? Did you feel any vibrations in fairings. I did test ride the bike I didn't feel any but just want to know if it vibrates after some time or not.

      2. Is it difficult to clean the bike since the fairing has more details and textures? And does dirt get accumulated in them?

Please let me know your responses bros.
I am planning to book the bike real quick just want to confirm on these.
How many days will it take to get the bike after booking.I live in Chennai.

      Thank you.
      1. I think the quality and finish of the fairing has definitely improved as compared to the older version. Mine was the first batch and frankly, I am not that bothered with fairing vibes. After 30,000 km on the odometer, the vibrations have definitely increased. But as I said, not something that would break the deal for me. Having said that, every faired bike will have vibes and those will increase with time. Lastly, you can always use the double side tape between panel gaps to reduce the vibes to a great extent!

      2. YES! The front fairing is difficult to clean if you use a cloth. If you use a pressure pipe, no. But again, not a deal breaker. I take pleasure in cleaning the bike myself and make sure every nook and corner is dust free. Apart from the front fairing, not difficult to clean the bike at all.

Make sure that you take a good long test drive before buying the bike. I would be more concerned about the weight and the comfort level of the bike, if I were in your place.

Best of luck for your purchase and many happy miles ahead!

        Thanks for the suggestion.
I got the whole swingarm checked and there was a bend at the point where the shocker is connected to the swingarm resulting in the overall decrease in the height of the bike. Got it fixed using a hydraulic press and everything looks good so far . [emoji5]️

Thank you, Ganesh. Will book the bike by next week. Helmets and gloves are a must I have around 6k for it. Any suggestion on helmets? Gloves are really hard to choose since the temp is mostly high here I would like gloves that are more ventilated.

Actually I did test ride the bike but only for around 2 to 3 kms. The bike felt so agile and was really in control. I was initially worried about filtering in traffic but it was way more easy to control than the Activa . Even though the bike weighs a lot it doesn't seem so. I just love the way it handles. The clutch was awesome too. Only negative I felt was the first gear didn't engage easily from neutral. I don't know if it was the problem of that specific bike or is it common to RS 200?

Over time the gearshift will get smoother and as you said weight is not an issue once you engage the gears.
In traffic only worry is mirrors, else you drive it like hooligan, brakes are having awesome bite.

When comes to the helmet and gloves part,I have booked SMK twister helmet (blue logo helmet coasts 4300) and gloves are probiker(costs 350max).

Don't buy cheap helmets,go for MT,ZEUS,AXOR etc.SMK has same color pattern as my bike so brought it and has. Pinlock visor and sunvisor feature too.if you use your bike for high speeds all the time go with Double Dring helmets like MT.

Agree with Ganesh999 that the gear shift will become smoother over time. Also, clutch settings can also lead to hard gear shift. But never expect gearbox as smooth as a CBR, you'll be disappointed.

Reg Helmet, I recently got MT Revenge. Check it out!

Reg gloves, disagree with Ganesh999. Don't ever buy probiker gloves. They are s**t. They don't offer good protection at all. Only good thing is that they are inexpensive. But if cost is the only criteria, buy cotton gloves as they are even cheaper (huge sarcasm intended)
In the event of any fall, your hands will take the first impact when they try to break the fall. Therefore it is extremely important to go for quality gloves, full gauntlet if possible. You can check out Aspida ares (fill gauntlet, leather) and Aspida pheton (short cuff, mesh+leather). Both available at Spartan progear online store.

Cool man, glad to see the issue resolved... BTW, did you get the rims replaced as well? If so, how much did they cost?

                    Hello

My Bike is due for its 20k km or 2 year servicing.

Besides the usual things to be changed/ checked i wanted to know if anyone has got their ECU updated. I have been facing jerks/power loss at 3-4k rpm in 2-3 gear since the bike was new, never bothered me much but in traffic situations it gets a bit annoying.
I checked the dominar thread and owners over there have faced similar issues but bajaj has released an update for them.

If any RS200 owner has got the update kindly share details. This jerking issues is not a huge problem but its better if its solved once and for all.

No other issues to report rather than the usual fairing vibrations and almost worn out tyres. I have covered 17k km but the tyres have breached the wear indicator markings. I will push them for a few more months and replace both tyres either with better mrf(metzeler) or pirelli .

                    regards

Don't think there has been any news for ECU update for RS200. About the power jerks/loss, when was the last time you got the FI system cleaned? If not recently, try getting it cleaned.

I got my servicing done yesterday. I was told that there is an update on the way by bajaj but similar updates for the dominar causes some slight reduction in mileage.

I got the fuel filter replaced. Was told that if the jerks/ loss of power occurs then they would update the ecu and cleaning of full fuel system was the last step. Since its not bothering me much ill get the update at the next service or maybe earlier.

I also discovered that a rat/mouse had eaten my air-filter from the outside. Must have traveled up the air intake and took a good chunk of the filter. No wires were eaten thankfully.

Hey, I am facing the same issue ( power loss at 3-4k rpm) idk if it's a major problem but I tried to adjust the rear disc pads a bit by just pushing them away from the disc. I felt like the issue was solved but whenever i got through any pot holes, the issue again persists. Also when do you guys fill air in your tyres? I have to fill it every alternate day since I went through 2-3 big potholes. The rims look normal to me but are there any chances for the rims to be bent? Or is there any other issue?

My abs cable from the rear wheel is broken.
                            I bought the part.
The question is. This cable is connected to the speedometer like the cable for the front wheel or i have to connect to abs module?

It's not connected to the speedo but it's probably connected to the ECU somehow. Get it done by the SVC.

As I recollect -The other end of Rear ABS sensor cable connector for my bike was under seat & deep below Left side mesh Panel- tied to wiring harness with cable tie.
