Yes , its difficult to drive in traffic due to the heavy front end weight of the fairing assembly, NS 200 itself has a heavy front , but this takes it even further.

Also guys Sold my bike recently, the problems with starting in traffic did not go away, everyday I get stuck in traffic signal stops.
Luckily got a good buyer ,sold for a minimal 20K loss after 1 year of owing, never got used to the heavy nature of this bike, Am relieved now, the 1.7L spent got recovered.

Check the clutch cable. Replace if worn out. If the problem still doesn't go change the clutch plates.

You can't get any visor for RS as there aren't any available. Your best bet is to get a new one and spray paint it black. I have done the same (on my old visor).

This is regarding the issue that I am facing with my bike which is Bajaj Pulsar RS200. I have done 29000km,
The issue is that i am able to touch 130 km/h in 5th gear with full throttle. But the moment i engage 6th gear the speed is brought back to 128 km/h with full throttle.
Checked with Bajaj as per the suggestion changed clutch plates, checked the fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, done the throttle body cleaning, but still nothing changed. Kindly help me out.
Note:- The clutch plates were changed in Delhi but within 3200 km they were worn out so got them changed.
Kindly help in this.

Hellk everyone, My bike which has run around 28k kms and I'm using Motul 7100 20w50, is giving an average fuel economy of 23 km/l, it is also missing in the initial acceleration and is showing strange behavior, I've attached the video, kindly see it and help me, I'll be really really thankful to you

Hey that's an odd issue. Do one thing, get your bike up on a paddock stand and tie it strongly so it doesn't move or go anywhere. Then ride the bike normally (while the rear wheel is in the air) and go through the gears and see if you can feel anything odd. This is a risky deal so be very careful. The only other thing I can think of is something may be wrong with your gearbox or maybe the 6th gear. Good luck.

Your stepper motor is malfunctioning. Get it changed. It costs 900 something if I recall.

For slow acceleration problem change fuel filter, air filter and get the throttle body cleaned. If that doesn't make a difference change the clutch plates.

Thanks for your reply brother, is stepper motor also the reason behind falling fuel economy, moreover if I get it washed and polished (with washing and polishing spray machines) it does not pick up higher rpms then, it needs to be ridden slowly slowly first at very low rpms and as kms are covered then it tends to climb up the rpm meter, in the mean time if I tend to give full throttle while it is not picking up the rpms its engine shuts down....

Hello, i am planning to upgrade my rear tyres. I was looking at the Michelin pilot street. I also was thinking of upsizing my tires. Is it possible for me to upgrade to 150/60 without facing mileage loss and performance issues?

150/60 is too wide. The most you can go to is 140/70.

It is the reason behind low fuel economy. Change it asap.

Yes, that is a result of water getting into and near the throttle body (it contains important sensors like the tps and injector). Avoid spraying water directly over the black net like plastic area. If you look closely you can see the throttle body. Instead just wash with normal water hose and not pressure wash.

Yes you can go for 150/60. Don't expect your performance and mileage to remain same after the changes. Bike will perform differently and will probably give worse mileage.

Need urgent assistance. My RS 200 (Manufacturing: Oct 2015) was sitting idle for last 2 months and couple of days back I tried starting the same and couldn't get it fired up. Tried with a new battery, no go.

Got the same checked up from the mechanic and it was identified that the fuel pump (connected to the bottom of fuel tank) has stopped working. After few trouble shooting steps the motor started to work but it did not throw the fuel through the nozzle. That part is not available at workshop or local part retailer.

Can someone guide me on the same and also share the parts catalogue for RS 200 (BS 3).

As I said a few months ago to someone here, search "RS 200 parts catalog" in Google it comes up. Download it and keep it for reference (it is of BS4 model but all the parts are backward compatible with BS3 version)

I just bought my rs200 yesterday, i must say that it's more comfortable bike . Anyways i noticed that there is no buzzer sound for indicator and there is no self cancelling indicator ,when i asked showroom guys they said new model does not come with self cancelling indicator. Is that true? Can someone clarify ?
