Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
You have to replace the whole mirror assembly. Do yourself a favor and install Handlebar mirrors. They cost 155 a pieceOriginally posted by RookieRider1907 View PostHello everyone, yesterday some idiot dropped my bike in parking and the mirror glass of my right side rvm got shattered.
I want to know if it can be replace (just the glass and not the whole mirror as thr rest is intact) and it yes then how much is it going to cost me?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Its not a problem. Its a "Feature" of the bike unfortunately. Solution? Deal with it. Often times theres a sweet spot for shifting, you will have to find it out yourself.Originally posted by Om1234 View PostSometimes my gear lever becomes too hard that it takes lot of power to upshift and downshift, and sometimes its normal in a single ride.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
It's a classic Gixxer issue. The gearbox is hard and the lever punishes your foot should you try to ride without wearing shoes. My bike is about 6 months old now and the gearbox is still a little clunky, although it has smoothened up a lot since then.Originally posted by Om1234 View PostSometimes my gear lever becomes too hard that it takes lot of power to upshift and downshift, and sometimes its normal in a single ride.

(1) check if the nut to secure gear lever with shaft is tight enoughOriginally posted by Om1234 View PostSometimes my gear lever becomes too hard that it takes lot of power to upshift and downshift, and sometimes its normal in a single ride.

(2) check if the clutch free play adjuster nut on engine case side are loose .
