I don't think Suzuki can repair this problem because its a design as well as manufacturing defect of the front fairing assembly welding to chassis frame.

Apart from this my bike also has a strange steering issue. Firstly it was pointing left when riding straight. Suzuki engineer then adjusted the front forks. Now the bike is pulling to left hand side. Service center is not ready to accept this problem.

Really confused how such defective bike wins awards like J D Power Initial Quality Study 2018!

Do we have a whatsapp group for SF owners? In case we do, would like to get added.

    Thanks

Not that I'm expecting much but perhaps if more and more such complaints come forward something'll happen.
Your city and dealership name please ?

Warranty cannot be claimed here as they are not even ready to take the issue into consideration. If more Gixxer owners take note of these misalignments and report it to Suzuki, maybe that will knock them in the head.

Unfortunately same story here. SMPIL is being an a**h*** and not addressing the issue because then they would have to make changes in teh way the front brace is being manufactured.

This issue cannot be solved unless theres a petition or a lawsuit against them in this regard.

I still keep bugging them but I have lost interest in the bike and Suzuki as a whole. Whenever the option arises I advice people not to go for Gixxer despite it being a great entry level bike but with piss poor ASS.

Call me biased but thats how it is.

As of right now the bike has 2 cosmetic defects and 3 mechanical problems. Otherwise the bike is fine.

    Cosmetic defect:

    1. Front brace/fairing
    2. Swingarm alignment

    Mechanical problems:

    1. Stator assembly cover oil leak
    2. Gear shift hardness
    3. Valve clearance/cam chain tension > Producing ticking sound.
